The Times article about him yesterday cropped that famous image so he just looked like a blond in a hoody.

They must feel it is in bad taste to publish the whole photograph. But neither did they explain that his transition does not mean he has had surgery.

That’s why the Daily Mail can be so important in letting people know the truth.

Just watching BBC news now and the newsreader started the report with the words "A transgender woman" 🤦‍♀️

Bryson described as a transgender woman by anchor, Sophie Rayworth, on News at 10.

And unfortunately, because the DM has published lies, tall stories, distortion and repulsive opinions for years, people can dismiss what they’re writing now. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d be ranting in disgust at the Guardian and agreeing with the DM!

DM tying itself in knots trying to discuss Bryson without saying either he or she or they, quite amusing to see how they've constructed sentences. Meanwhile they are referring to other transwomen prisoners as 'he' so I don't know if there is some legal thing specifically preventing Bryson having male pronouns applied in the press?

Adam Graham has just been discussed on Sky News press preview and they showed the full length leggings photo.

Sonia Sodha was magnificent as always; clear and unequivocal that males should not be in female prisons.

Mark Wallace agreed with her, pointing out that there had been multiple ignored warnings about dangerous scenarios such as males ending up in female prisons, and how Sturgeon's problem was gambling on something that she thought would be popular in the future just to be on the right side of history.

It was amusing at the end as the news anchor sounded quite flustered by the blindingly obvious common sense of what they were both saying.

This confused muddle of reporting helpfully illustrates all the issues.

There will have been massed jumping up and down by the lobby behind the scenes trying to regain slipped control from the disaster of a couple of weeks ago, shouting about regulations. Remember that any information that shows a negative light, whether true or not, is transphobic to share with the public: sharing a picture that shows reality is going to be framed as a sin.

It's fact that he seems to be promoting lowering the age of consent that does it for me.

Plus he doesn't seem to think women are fully human.

No it isn’t good enough. Certain people would always allow it if they were in a ministerial position.

Isn’t it the case that putting a housing a man in prison with women would be against the Geneva Convention?

Please would anyone who has not yet done so go to the petitions site and sign the petition to update the Equality Act? n.b. This is a Parliamentary site with guaranteed privacy. It wouldn’t change this exactly but would help pave the way.

Sandy Brindley, RCS, in that clip, don't look at that, look at this. Yes, our focus should be on the victims. We should focus on not making new ones by keeping males our of spaces where women are vulnerable. By making sure that women can talk about ourselves without our language being colonised by men or rewritten to exclude us.

What got me was the Judge saying "penetrated with her penis"
