I can’t post/reply on the FB post our local constabulary put out about this to point out the facts about this offender but I am furious and feel so helpless.

Most of those who have posted have only read the headline and not the facts within the article, this is not our crime!

Despite her age she will have a massive size/strength advantage over the females within that prison.

I fear for their safety in this batshit world.

Thats awful. Part of me is glad that they are using he AND saying he's going to a womans prison without the GRC. I hope other papers publish it too.

I cannot understand him going to a womens prison as he has no grc.
Presumably his safety is more important than the women he will be in prison with.

Can I just say that it isn’t the judge who decides what prison trans inmates go to. The judge just passed the sentence of 20 years or whatever. It is HM Prison service that decides which prison a convicted defendant goes to, categorises them, moves them around etc. judges have no input into what prison anyone goes to.

I just used their “is there something wrong with this page” to tell Sussex Police what I thought was wrong with their write up of that conviction.
