A predatory sex offender in a women’s prison!!!!

I can’t post/reply on the FB post our local constabulary put out about this to point out the facts about this offender but I am furious and feel so helpless.

Most of those who have posted have only read the headline and not the facts within the article, this is not our crime!

Despite her age she will have a massive size/strength advantage over the females within that prison.

I fear for their safety in this batshit world.

This person is legally and in actuality, male. Indisputably. They should not be in a women's prison. This person's crimes are not crimes committed by women, and shouldn't be recorded as female crimes by the ONS or other bodies. Except they bloody well will be :-(

This is an appalling situation. Genuinely shocking, and I am so sick of these cases happening. The thought of vulnerable women having to put up with this person...

HE committed the crimes as a MALE, he should go to a mens prison. One where they don't take to well to children being raped.

A Judge can't decide which prison someone goes to. That's decided by HMPPS.

I've complained on the Sussex Police page about them reporting this as a woman's crime.

My local police force posted this also (as I'm in this area) and as soon as I saw the picture I knew it was a man.

It is also what Kier Starmer is proudly promoting. Labour need to wake up, get rid of their misogynistic leader and become a party women can vote for.

Unbelievable that a man gets to choose whether he goes to a man's or woman's prison. Just WHY ?

Only the Tories can change it. They introduced the Conservative policy of Self ID and they are responsible for its continuation today.

The Tories might have introduced the policy of self-ID because they just happened to be in power. One must question, however, why - out of all the bonkers policies they introduced- this one is being taken up by all the other major parties. Labour, SNP, Lib Dems, Greens. They're all onboard for self-ID. It's not just a Tory policy and it leaves us all politically homeless.

@WearyLady, Self ID didn't just happen, in the way for example Covid happened. Self ID was a deliberate Conservative policy. Engineered by Caroline Nokes (Con MP). Introduced by Theresa May (Con PM). And championed by Penny Mordaunt (Con Minister).

If the Conservative Party hadn't introduced Self ID, because they didn't have to, we wouldn't have it.

And may remind I you that the role of the opposition parties is to oppose poor policies. What did the opposition do in this instance? They climbed fully on board.

Whether they did or didn't, the Conservatives were in power and they would not have been able to stop it. Just as they can't stop PM Truss's mini budget, despite it being universally condemned.🤷‍♀️

The Tories created the trans shitshow with the Conservative policy of Self ID. They have presided over a time when male bodied folk are put in women's prisons/refuges and women are "not raped" by male bodied folk in hospital. And as this case shows, they're happy to let it continue. That sex offender is in a women's jail because of the Tory party.
