How can this be allowed?

This is what "bring your whole self to work" looks like
This is what "acceptance without exception" looks like
This is what "kink shaming is dreadful" looks like
This is what removing safeguarding for children in favour of individual adults exhibiting their fetish looks like

(remember the NSPCC's rubber man in the toilets?)

And it's always males bringing their 'whole self to work' too.

And if you don't like it you are a pearl clutching, kink shaming prude.

Slothtoes · 16/09/2022 18:04

Massive creeps gonna creep.. This is fine if someone wants to act out something in privacy at home. Unbelievably inappropriate in any way in public or near any children. Jesus.

elferian · 16/09/2022 18:09

what I wouldn't give to see Enoch Burke in the same school

OnTheBrinkOfChange · 16/09/2022 18:10

AlisonDonut · 16/09/2022 15:36

Can you imagine if a female teacher went to school with a fake 12 inch penis shoved down her trousers?

Exactly.

AlisonDonut · 16/09/2022 18:22

JamSandle · 16/09/2022 17:55

I get about bringing your whole self to work (ha!) But there need to be professional boundaries. To me this seems perverse and predatory.

That's because it is perverse and predatory.

Kids that don't recoil will be noted as those whose boundaries have already been (I hate to say corrupted but) broken/disturbed/eroded. That's how they work.

nepeta · 16/09/2022 18:32

OnTheBrinkOfChange · 16/09/2022 18:10

Exactly.

To match this example in magnitude she'd have to use a wheelbarrow to transport it.

Summerfun54321 · 16/09/2022 18:43

someone needs to do a risk assessment for those massive things right next to that chop saw!! This has to be a joke surely 😂

Givenitarest · 16/09/2022 18:47

There is absolutely no way in a milion years that this is not a spoof. No teacher would be allowed to wear cycling shorts in a class...

oxydant · 16/09/2022 18:57

GrabbyGabby · 16/09/2022 17:11

My first response to seeing this was to call bullshit. No one would be that brazen. This is a set up so people who live their lives on twitter can come on here and get screen shots of us lot losing our shit over an obvious hoax.

If it is a hoax, it is a good one. There are multiple photos in taken in multiple settings that look like an authentic school.

The name lines up with a teacher in that area.

Multiple accounts appear to be tweeting similar material.

Also, Canada has drunk allllll the coolaid, so if this shit was going to go down anywhere it would be there. Would the school be able to stop him without accusations of bigotry? Would they dare?

So, for now I am erring on the side of it being true.

These are pretty much my thoughts too

grannyjacob · 16/09/2022 19:05

Trust me, no one would be happier than me if this turns out to be a hoax. I swithered as to whether to post it or not in the first place because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. But, as others have said, Canada is neck deep in this shit.

Outside of fee paying schools there is very seldom a dress code for school staff.

Every school I have worked in has had a dress code for staff. i still have a few examples:
Male staff must wear a formal shirt and tie and smart trousers - smart jumpers optional. Suits/jackets are optional. Smart shoes should be worn. Staff who teach in the PE Department have a separate agreed uniform.
ï‚· Female staff must wear smart dresses or smart separates or smart trousers. Skirts and dresses should not be too short (just above knee length at the shortest). Smart shoes or smart boots should be worn.
ï‚· All staff must wear their name badges/ID
ï‚· Staff should ensure that their make-up, hairstyles and any visible piercings or tattoos are
suitable and appropriate for working in a setting with young people below the age of 18 years of age.

and

Appropriate dress for female staff:
ï‚· Dresses and skirts which are no shorter than three inches above the knee. Dress and skirts which are ankle length and tight enough to hinder walking are not acceptable attire. The slit of a dress or skirt must come no higher than three inches above the knee.
ï‚· Slacks and Capri pants may be worn in an appropriate manner. Capri pants must be below the knee. Physical education teachers may wear shorts. All other female staff will not wear shorts.
ï‚· No jeans or jean clothing of any color are acceptable.
ï‚· T-shirts are not allowed. Low cut blouses, see-through clothing, off the shoulder, halter style,
tank tops, or clothing which reveals the midriff are not allowed. Sleeveless clothing must cover
undergarments.
ï‚· Shoes and sandals without a back strap are unacceptable. Flip-flops are NOT allowed.
ï‚· Athletic shoes/sneakers are not allowed for nonphysical education teachers.
ï‚· Earrings on females are the ONLY visible piercing allowed.
ï‚· Hats are not to be worn inside.
ï‚· Tattoos that are considered offensive, racist, vulgar, show scenes of violence, drug-related,
contain strong sexual imagery, gang related or contain obscene phrases may not be visible.
Appropriate dress for male staff:
ï‚· Men must wear a dress shirt and tie.

These are normal state schools, not fee paying

AprilRae91 · 16/09/2022 19:22

I wouldn’t mind, most kids would find that hilarious

StrangerThanMostFiction · 16/09/2022 19:37

Grim if true, Id be in there with a pin. But you know there's MNers on that Twitter thread when you see the phrase "fanny gallops" 😄

YesitsBess · 16/09/2022 19:39

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 16/09/2022 15:35

Could you send the DC to school with a hat pin? It could serve two purposes.

I know this is serious but I lost it with this!

HailAdrian · 16/09/2022 19:43

No, I would assume they were sexually deviant, is that really bad to say?

667TheNeighbourOfTheBeast · 16/09/2022 19:45

DillonPanthersTexas · 16/09/2022 15:34

I assume they are teaching physics?

😂😂😂

Mummyoflittledragon · 16/09/2022 19:46

The Kenny Everett reference brings back memories. ‘All done in the best possible taste’.

ControversialOpening

Nowhere in that dress code do I see anything about giant prosthetic tits. Maybe that's where they've gone wrong.

I read the title and thought "why are people so arsey about appearances? What does it matter what they look like?" But yes, this is fucking ridiculous.

Reflectiononglass · 16/09/2022 20:03

Seriously tho, what could be done in a dress code that would be non-discriminatory? Something about no visible nipples would be fine, but how could you write a dress code that didn’t allow this but did allow a transwoman teacher to present as they wished (and in a normal way)?

Reflectiononglass · 16/09/2022 20:04

That’s the question Maya asked, isn’t it really

Ritascornershop · 16/09/2022 20:20

@ControversialOpening ah, but you’re in the UK I think? I’m in Canada, which is where this person is teaching (if true). Teachers here at state schools very often teach in sandals, shorts, tshirts, jeans, biking shorts. One teacher I worked with (inexplicably) wore the same bathing suit with a skirt overtop week in and week out. Some teachers dress in business casual, some male teachers wear suits. But their dress code tends to me much more lax (when it exists at all) than that of the kids.

ReunitedThorns · 16/09/2022 20:39

I am just so disappointed at people calling this a hoax. Please accept this woman as living her truth, discovering that she was meant to be born with unnaturally gigantic breasts. This is core to her gender identity, why question it?

I'm very concerned that trans rights activists instantly think "hoax", transgender women come in all shapes and sizes and should never be judged, you should always take their word for it, even convicted liars.

As many have said "acceptance without exception". She is stunning and brave, particularly around those circular saws.

Emotionalsupportviper · 16/09/2022 21:22

@ReunitedThorns

😂😂😂

Brings a new meaning to "most vulnerable and at risk".
