Part of the problem may be that the people defending this are simply unable to put "trans" and "fetish" together in their minds.

To some extent I think women can be more prone to this, because if you lack imagination, which is common, and haven't any real experience of having that kind of sexual proclivity or the potential for it, it seems very alien. I've talked to women who simply can't get their head around AGP - it just seems like a crazy thing someone made up.

The other problem is that they have associated idea like this with things like seeing gay men as risks to kids. They have accepted totally that this was a bigoted idea. It goes beyond that though - quite a lot of women who think this way won't even allow themselves to recognize some of the stuff that goes on in the Peter Thatchall end of the gay community, particularly some of the attitudes around sex with teenagers. It's too close to the possibility that teens might be at risk with those individuals, and that is filed under "things you can't think."

I am offended by this persons presentation. I don’t always mind people transgressing as some boundaries need breaking down. But artificial breasts that size , whether on a man or a woman make me very uncomfortable. And I do recall some examples of women having their breasts inflated to similar sizes.
I have a 40 f bra size, and it has been the bane of my life, with people making all sorts of assumptions about me. And it is difficult to avoid a porn star aesthetic. Some people have huge natural breasts, and enjoy them, or at least find a way to accommodate them, and I applaud this. But if they were teaching my child, I’d want them to be contained, and I would not want nipples or cleavage on display, anymore than I want them seeing arse cracks or genitalia.
For all the talk of passing, that we don’t even know there are men in our changing rooms and toilets, it does seem that for some, a trans identity involves dressing as if going to a fetish club. The exhibitionism does worry me.

cake, as noted in that article above, paraphilias are almost exclusively confined to males. I do think it can be hard for many women to understand what drives them. Perhaps its an area that would benefit from more research.
