Sometimes, when I'm donating to gender critical causes i think, 'yikes this is getting expensive' and then I remember that this time yes I'm contributing for Gillian, but actually, I'm also doing it for all of us.

That's brilliant! I was out gardening very early and she'd only planted around 250 potatoes when I dug my trowel in.

It's about time the big publishers houses stopped capitulating to their junior TRA editors/designers and found a backbone.

I don't think Grace Lavery's Penis book is doing great sales so it looks like it's not a great business model.

I'm really glad to see this. Tweeting the hashtag in support of jk rowling caused them to drop her, which I find disgusting. She says that they had not complained before, even though her views were clear (from her social media I think). It was the support for jkr & subsequent complaints they received that made them act.

I wonder what she has to prove to show she was a worker not 'a mere contractor' at the time. I hope that's do-able.

Free speech union are acting for her according to the crowd funder.

Thank you for alerting us to this. I have had a quick google as you suggested. I can’t believe HarperCollins has behaved in this way towards Gillian. Shocking.
