The Tribunal will start on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

I have sent a request but haven't had anything back yet. Hopefully nearer the time.

Shit. Allison, wishing you all the very best, and utter RAGE against everyone who's contributed to the stress you're under. 💐

OvaHere · 27/04/2022 11:34

Oh no. Really sorry to hear Allison is unwell. The stress must be immense. Wishing her a speedy recovery. Flowers

Ohnohedident · 27/04/2022 11:35

I really hope Alison is ok.
Having been through processes just a fraction of what Alison is going through and I can testify standing up to the patricharchy is horrendous, not lease because every woman alive has been conditioned since birth to 'be kind' and that means following mens rules.
Going against this, and so publically must feel terrifying.

We are all behind you though. 💪

Sorry to hear Allison collapsed yesterday and is now in hospital.

Sending positive and healing vibes, hope she will be well enough for the hearing tomorrow.

Get well soon x

CompleteGinasaur · 27/04/2022 12:06

Worth remembering that Stonewall did this. The organisation set up to protect and further Lesbian and Gay rights has hounded a Lesbian Feminist into the hospital in order to support heterosexual men with a paraphilia and thus remain on the (taxpayer) funded gravy train.

All best wishes, Allison. And absolute rage at what they have/are putting you through.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 27/04/2022 12:09

Worth remembering that Stonewall did this.

There are many contributors to Allison's health crisis and it would be unjust to attribute it solely to one source, no matter how unsympathetic the organisations is.

PronounssheRa · 27/04/2022 12:42

Awful, get well soon Allison 💐

FlibbertyGiblets · 27/04/2022 12:49

I wonder if they’ll try to settle out of court. It wouldn’t be the worst thing if Stonewall and Garden Court held their hands up and said ‘We did collude to deprive AB of work. This was in a genuine belief that her activities were transphobic. We now understand that her gender critical beliefs are protected and it is best for all parties that we avoid a drawn-out tribunal that can only confirm this. We apologise without reservation etc.’

Rather than force a three week hearing into what we all know already to be true, they could try crossing the golden bridge.

WeeBisom · 27/04/2022 13:04

Wishing Alison a speedy recovery. This can’t be an easy time for her.

Clymene · 27/04/2022 13:10

Oh gosh, I've only just seen this. Wishing Allison a speedy recovery

Mumsnut · 27/04/2022 13:12

I hope she is fighting fit soon.

Is anyone clever enough to decode whether this EAT judgement yesterday will have an impact on Maya and Allison's cases?

tabbycatstripy · 27/04/2022 13:22

Not sure, Mumsnut, but that looks messy to me.

Coyoacan · 27/04/2022 14:01

Get well soon, Allison

It feels very different.

Unless I misunderstand the issue, setting aside the argument about holding and manifesting beliefs, it reads like he had a duty to inform his employer about political activities and he didn't. There are many public or public-facing roles that mandate that you must not be a member of a political party (of any description), nor have a public opinion on particular topics. To me, it looks as if this claimant was in breach of these by neglecting to report his affiliation and activities to his employer.

I really don't think think any kind of speculation on settlements and suggestions that link Allison's case to that of a someone with a very questionable (even if legal) set of beliefs are at all helpful. The tribunal has adjourned for the day with the stated intention of reconvening tomorrow at 10am with, if necessary, a reshuffle of the witnesses in order to try and stick to time allotted for the trial.

tabbycatstripy · 27/04/2022 14:26

I just hope she’s alright and was thinking that if the ordeal of cross-examination could be avoided that might be better for her. But of course we’ll find out more tomorrow.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 27/04/2022 14:30

She's had so much to put up with, even this week on twitter. I do hope she'll be OK.
