Amazon has JKR’s new Strike novel for pre-order at half price.

Amazon has the hardcover book at 50% off... so £12.50 rather than £25, plus free delivery on release day. 30th August.

944 pages!

Pretty excited myself.

I know JK has really started to carve out a feminist identity for Robin which I love.

Ooh good. DH bought me the other books for Xmas, I thought the 2nd book was a bit meh but enjoyed the others.
You can just tell from her writing that she’s on the side of Women, her lived experience shines though too.
She’s obviously close to someone with a military background as well, Strike’s experiences and friendships are ‘right’ as well.

I think they can stand alone, but you get more from reading them in order.

Fabulous thanks! I considered getting it on Kindle as I have the hardback of Troubled Blood and it gave me wrist ache but decided to just do plenty of arm exercises before August and get the hardback to complete my collection
