Oops... some friends came round and we all went to another pub.

We all got rather drunk, but I woke up at dawn and went and walked the dogs.

I'd almost forgotten the pleasures of a) seeing friends b) the pub c) a head-clearing walk the next morning.

It's that impromptu experience I missed most and getting it back has taken longer than I thought, though definitely practicing a lot

The bloody voles are still here. They didn't stay too long last time, think the food source here isn't good enough for them to stay. The Geraniums are hanging on by a thread, so they've started on the Japanese Anemones (they grow like weeds in my garden so not such a problem). I'm going to write them a note giving them notice of eviction

Anyway, the big shop and spend resulted in me buying a lovely top for Embarrassing, to cheer her up, but unfortunately it doesn't fit her so I've had to keep it. Shame really 🤣

We're having a lazy morning. I want some coffee but the dog has gone to sleep on my foot. Actually it's getting quite uncomfortable so I'm going to move.... anyone else want a brew? house blend at the moment is Atkinson's Stereotype - the exception to the rule that stereotypes are bad.

Ah, sorry, was the plants that got smashed to bits. Sadly lots of our veg got smashed.

House ok. Barn got flooded, just the bottom layer of straw and hay, which is a blow, but can use it for mulch or compost.

I don't think people on here have a clue about rural living and businesses, on divorce.
It's so very difficult.
