I've never seen a board I agree with so much, but I am from texas. I love this board!! Does anyone here frequent other huge rad feminist/ gender critical boards? How is it possible your board seems so devoid of male trolling?

I can't answer the first bit but regards to the second

Men I think tend to think it's just mummies nattering and leave us to it and those that don't tend to get short shrift when they do troll and find out that the mummies nattering shtick is just a screen for a vicious nest of vipers and a feminist radicalisation portal Grin

Lipstick alley? A few similar threads get linked here.

A forum in Australia stopped all debate.

You can stay here though, we have many women from all over the world!

WarriorN · 26/04/2021 16:40

There's also spinster xyz and another one but I don't find the layout as easily accessible.

Ovarit is based in the US I think. Although it is not quite like mumsnet. I think it was set up by women who got fed up with Reddit...

WarriorN · 26/04/2021 16:44

Nah, very different reasons. As anyone who understands the issues would know.

WarriorN · 26/04/2021 16:45

(In response to Shiz)

Welcome Parakeetkeet
Can't wait to visit my dear friends in Texas again once this pandemic is over. Sadly my friends tell me that discussing these issues is hard in the USA - there's always someone popping up misrepresenting women as right wing bigots. At last on here a quick read of threads proves that not to be the case.

Well, fed up, certainly, but it's largely staffed by ex-moderators of the r/GenderCritical subreddit, which was banned.

Welcome Parakeetkeet

@Shizuku

Try the Republican party or the Christian evangelical movement. You will find they share the same views as most members of this forum on trans people and sex workers.
Do jog on, Shiz. Slurring GC feminists on FWR can't be your only hobby.
Deliriumoftheendless · 26/04/2021 16:50

Oh there’s plenty of men trolling.

DaisiesandButtercups · 26/04/2021 16:51

We are not quite devoid of male trolling but the moderators take care to keep things “in the spirit” and delete posts or threads and ban posters when they are reported and breach the guidelines.

Unfortunately many feminist posts and posters suffer the same fate if they are deemed “not in the spirit”.

AssassinatedBeauty · 26/04/2021 17:00

Thanks for the mention of Ovarit, I wasn't aware of this forum.

Men who troll on MN tend to get short shrift because posters here don't tolerate it and report swiftly. MNHQ are usually quite good at banning them. Overnight there are a team of people who can temporarily hide things if MNHQ aren't around, so even hairy handed late night visitors can be shown the door.

andyoldlabour · 26/04/2021 17:03

"Do jog on, Shiz. Slurring GC feminists on FWR can't be your only hobby."

I don't know. The amount of trolling they do surely doesn't leave much time for anything elseGrin

Waitwhat23 · 26/04/2021 17:05

There are certain posters who do their best to troll and I used to see their names pop up and think 'oh well, there goes another thread' but over the last few weeks particularly, the regular feminist posters on FWR have been on fire and have absolutely obliterated their inane remarks!

In terms of American sites, I have been on Lipstick Alley and the debate on there is robust - there seems to be a lot more latitude on what they are allowed to say by moderators.

Don't think the left leaning women of FWR would have much in common with them but I believe some parts of the Christian Right are big funders of certain trans groups.

Honestly, give it a rest. Maybe spend your time finding actual evidence that backs up the nonsense points you seem so fond of making.
OhHolyJesus · 26/04/2021 17:35

Plenty of trolls here OP as has been usefully demonstrated Smile

I know a few posters from the US and Australia here. You are most welcome to stick around but do read the guidelines and post within them so to not get banned.

Another forum to try is the Standing for Women forum as Kellie-Jay now has an advisory role with WOLF I think it is and has some US connections.

CousinKrispy · 26/04/2021 17:35

Don't have a recommendation as I've been living in the UK for years, but have fond memories of Texas!

Also have never voted Republican in my life Grin

Shizuku · 26/04/2021 18:21

Hmm, are you saying that the right wing in the US don't agree with you on issues like banning puberty blockers, or trans women in female spaces?

persistentwoman · 26/04/2021 18:29

Oh no - people agreeing that the world is round and the sky is blue?
They must all therefore be right wing bigots.
Have I got that right Shizuku as it sounds a bit flawed to me?

borntobequiet · 26/04/2021 18:31

Hmm, are you saying that because I agree with another person on one or two things I inevitably agree with them on everything, and for the same reasons? That’s just daft.
