Whenever trans inclusiveness is mentioned, it always seems to default to transwomen. I wonder why?

Feminism is trans inclusive. It seems clear however unwomen is not female centric. Bergdorf does like to lecture women about being better women though. Pity unwomen haven’t realized they have put the face of modern patriarchy up to tell women how to be feminists. Very empowering.

I thought the comments on the twitter thread about blackface being unacceptable, vs somehow this has turned into "you must 'centre' your oppressors especially when they are appropriating your identity" were interesting.
I wish more people would highlight how crazy it is that we cannot debate gender identity and innate gender, but we must not ever imagine wanting to be or identifying as another race. Or even playfully suggesting it. Like, ever.

I'm a bit staggered that someone who has made such aggressive and inflammatory and insulting remarks, while never actually achieving anything of note, is chosen by unwomen to speak on our behalf.

Haven't actually listened to them but think this is possibly appropriate.

A really low bar has been set for this person's behaviour, seemingly because they're doing 'woman' so well (e.g. looking great on camera, which as we know is a key attribute for any woman). Doesn't seem to matter what they've said in the past, they're repeatedly held up as a role model.

I want to see a woman who understands what it’s like growing up as a little girl - the barriers of opportunity, getting groped on the bus as a primary school kid and catcalled in senior school, periods and babies, not getting a job because you are of an age when you ‘might have babies’, and being overlooked for promo because you are a woman, being encouraged to ‘dress nice’ for work events, being scared who walk home/exercise alone, being overlooked once you get your first grey hair, being told to ‘be nice’ rather than stand up for yourself... the pains/illnesses that only women can get. The understanding that only a woman can really understand.

Is there a UNTrans / LGBetc group? Because maybe there should be.
