And not supporting women? Why does that make you feel optimistic?

Can you tell me what it was specifically about Monroes clip on this tweet that made you feel positive, posi? What did you feel would be the action off the back of it that would be a positive thing?

Whats really interesting to me in this whle thing, is how invisible transmen are. When companies and such shout for 'trans inclusivity' what they mean is exclude transmen, and include transwomen. When honestly, transmen could potentially have more difficulties in life and require more support than other women do. Yet, they are only ever thought of as an afterthought, by those who claim to care about transpeople (though in reality only give a shit about transwomen), or as a convenient gotchya.

For absolutely sure. People are increasingly aware of the more sinister aspects of this ideology, and more inclined to call it out. At one end of the wedge we have Bergdorf waffling on about including everyone - at the other end we have unlicensed, unproven medication being given to children and rapists in women's prisons.

Why shouldn't UN Women focus on women?

One of the comments on the FB page says we need to include working class men in feminism as they are also victims of the patriarchy. It's becoming clearer and clearer that certain people and groups just want feminism (as a political stance) done away with for good.

If 'born in the wrong body' theory is no longer acceptable and even Mermaids acknowledge it, are organisations like UNWomen now prepares to accept that Transwomen aren't women? I'd have thought believing TWAW would be dependent on some sort of belief that they're real women who've somehow ended up in a male body by accident.

Thanks - I went to the facebook page where it is very much in place although most comments just say they have no business posting this - specifically during the 16 Days of Action Against Violence Against Women.

Worth repeating that Feminism is inclusive of all females - including transmen.
