How the hell did they get captured so easily??
Because they can identify with males wanting to play far more easily than they can females. They see themselves unable to play rugby at the male level with a testosterone drop, and are instantly sympathetic to the denial of an alternative route.
They aren't seeing the women's perspective at all. It's just not being factored into their thinking because they're not putting themselves into the women's shoes.
This is why capture has happened across the board. People instantly consider and sympathise with distressed males. The impact and distress for females just isn't engaged with, and then when those women protest, after the imaginative empathy has already been engaged by the males that protest is instinctively regarded as cruelty.
That's how we ended up in a situation where Karen White was locked in with vulnerable women, and nobody cared until she'd actually harmed some of them. The imaginative leap is all for transwomen, and what it does to vulnerable women to be forced to compete against, and sleep and strip naked alongside, strange males - even when those males are sex offenders, and/or the women survivors of male violence is never really engaged with at all. There's no attempt to imagine what that must be like, the pain it could cause, or the fear it will create. No attempt to imagine what it must be for women athletes to suddenly be told that no talent or commitment matters, ifd a male wants to play. It is solely, and totally, focused on what the male wants.
This is how we know that they do not believe, not for one moment, that transwomen are women. The history of women's sport is of exclusion, and downplaying, and disregarding. The moment males want to participate, then suddenly inclusion is the rule.
It's not even subtle. None of this is.
