Can't see a thread about this, which has enraged me this morning - Fox bragging (on a JKR tweet to a child!) about beating up women

BuzzShitbagBobbly

Cast your mind back to McKinnon and the "grease fire" and the dancing on the grave tweets after MB passed away.

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 13:46

Prodigal it is so fucking obvious, but we're all supposed to pretend we don't see it

TheAdventuresoftheWishingChair · 17/06/2020 13:48

Just when you think you can't be more shocked.

This has sickened me. We live in a society where a man feels its perfectly acceptable to write this because knows there will be no repercussions whatsoever.

BovaryX · 17/06/2020 13:49

That is sickening. The violence and the fact this person is boasting about hurting women. It's despicable.

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 13:58

The tweet has been removed for violating Twitter's rules, for which we should no doubt be grateful

I'm not grateful. I want shit like that to stand so that there's no way for TRAs to hide what's really happening.

Oncewasblueandyellowtwo · 17/06/2020 14:06

Fallon Fox has been a "here" of Tara Wolf's since before Tara started martial arts.

"Rhonda Rousey to break people’s arms with her armbars”, she shrugs. “But when Fallon Fox cracked an opponent’s skull, that was a huge issue. No one cared when Fallon was an amateur or if she lost, it was only after she became pro that it was controversial”

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 14:07

I guess I meant that we should be grateful Twitter at least has some morals left, some kind of bar exists however low :/ the tweet has been screenshotted and archived, for next time everyone says that trans women in womens sport causes no harm to women

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 14:10

Well as we know Tara is also a big fan of hitting women considerably smaller than themselves

"AmericanSlang"

Yes they are cut from the same cloth, aggressive spiteful people.

I agree. The more people that see what is really going on the better. This is just appalling.

Sorry I quoted the wrong quote. This is the one I was replying to.
NotTerfNorCis · 17/06/2020 14:23

Haven't seen a single TRA condemn Fallon, and some are cheering h** on. What is it about genderism that makes people so vile? Or are vile people attracted to genderism?

blubellsarebells · 17/06/2020 14:27

"What is it about genderism that makes people so vile? Or are vile people attracted to genderism?"
This is the question i was trying to ask upthread.
I would love to know the answer to it.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 17/06/2020 14:28

That's an interesting question, isn't it? I tend to lean towards the view that you'd have to be pretty unpleasant to sign up in the first place, and even more so to stick around once you see all the threats to punch/rape/shoot women, but then being involved seems to make people even worse over time.

happydappy2 · 17/06/2020 14:29

I don’t understand why the organisers of that fight haven’t been visited by the police, the female opponent didn’t realise she was facing a man until it was too late, how can that be legal?

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 14:34

happydappy it shouldn't be legal, in a sane world, but if one agrees that TWAW the rest follows. If, as Emma Watson states, people are who they say they are, then FF was a woman fighting another woman

OP posts:
TheProdigalKittensReturn · 17/06/2020 14:36

Fox broke Tamika Brent's orbital bone. That's not an injury she could have anticipated because women simply don't have the strength to punch with enough force to do that. She also ended up with staple in her skull. Again, these are not expected injuries in women's MMA.

Fox should be prosecuted, as should the organization that set up the fight.

andyoldlabour · 17/06/2020 14:39

If anyone wants to say just how nasty these people can be, then read this article about Tara Wolf, from someone who knows very well.

www.peaktrans.org/cowardly-bullies-get-my-video-about-tara-wolf-wanting-to-smash-my-face-in-with-the-support-of-freedom-news-taken-down-from-youtube-so-here-is-the-full-content/

AmericanSlang · 17/06/2020 14:42

Prodigal i agree entirely, but we're in an insane world where Fox is just a really really strong woman and it isn't their fault that their opponent was a rubbish female with an eggshell skull

OP posts:
Datun · 17/06/2020 14:43

It makes all those tens of thousands rape and death threats a reality, doesn't it.

In 2020, cockfighting has been outlawed, bearbaiting, dogfighting, but you can get a man to gleefully punch a woman until he breaks her bones, with the blessing of the authorities.

May they hang their heads in shame.

Datun · 17/06/2020 14:48

What really gets my goat, though, is this is only coming to the fore because fox is jumping up and down bragging about how much he loves to hit women.

Before he said that, five minutes ago, he was still doing it. Backed up to the hilt by the boxing authorities.

Does, for example, a 6 foot four male rugby player now saying he loves nothing more than getting into a scrum with a woman, because he knows he can violently push her over, suddenly change the entire concept from acceptable to appalling.

What? they can do it, but they just can't like doing it? Or they can do it, like it, but they just can't say so?

Misogyny is only misogyny when it's got a name. How convenient.

SunsetBeetch · 17/06/2020 14:50

So proud of being a woman beater. What a piece of shit.

I always knew that TW could and were competing against women in sports. I gave always thought it was unfair.

I just never made the jump that this included combat sports like MMA etc.

Literally cannot believe what I am reading.

This is a man beating up a women and bragging about it. I have no words. I am so disgusted.

All the training in the world will not make this a fair fight.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 17/06/2020 14:57

"What makes this violent male who likes hitting women different from any other violent male who likes hitting women?"

"This one is named after a character from Dynasty, and wears eyeshadow."
