Woah, was really not expecting that! Especially after reading just this morning his legal team were advocating for five years because, er, reasons.

This is wonderful news. Does it not make you wonder, though, why most men (in Ireland and the UK and Europe, not sure of the US system) seem to get such small sentences for rape and sexual assault that this seems so extraordinary?

Fuck him. His victims are living a whole life sentence. Here's hoping he's the first of many because he's sure as hell not the only powerful man to use his position to rape women with impunity.
