I am going to publish an email trail here, which I believe shows just how far regulatory capture has gone. It shows how questions are ignored, words twisted, and the LAW, the Equality Act 2010 is wilfully misrepresented.
Here goes.....

Thanks for the reminder. Will fill it out today.

All must respond - annoying more work for us all - but it’s important.

Thanks for the reminder on the 'sex' based rights. I just can't believe that every time I mention women now, it needs to be related to sex and not gender

A new batch of responses on the GRA consultation- a few familiar names 😉

Quite a lot of sensible responses, some from men and academics I’m pleased to note. Mine still not there - they’ve probably hit a long way to go, must be snowed under with all these consultations.

Don’t forget the ones for toilets and free speech.

In that Daily Mail article: "Caroline Nokes, Tory chairman of the Commons women and equalities committee, told the newspaper: ‘By not putting up female ministers to speak on the main political Sunday morning programmes, the party is failing to engage with half of the electorate."

Well, it would be very nice if SHE engaged with half of the electorate, and made a better effort to represent us - especially since it's her JOB!!!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 27/01/2021 12:00

Caroline Nokes is awful. Maria Miller Mark 2.

highame · 27/01/2021 12:11

Why should we have a woman minister for women who we don't like or trust?

highame · 27/01/2021 12:12

Sorry Chair not minister

BaronessWrongCrowd · 27/01/2021 12:19

Caroline Noakes's awful bias is such that she should not hold the position that she does. I'm firmly of the opinion that if one does not know what a woman is, as Ms Noakes has demonstrated that she does not, then one should not be sticking one's oar in with regard to the rights of women and girls nor should one (still looking at you Ms Noakes) be on any committee that could influence policy relating to the female sex.

highame · 27/01/2021 12:23

well put Baroness, something like that might go in my Government Equalities Office submission

highame · 27/01/2021 12:25

and another thing (am really tetchy today) trans rights now conflicts with gay rights and women's rights, therefore they should not be the same department.
