Mrs Fogi you are correct. Bins are whatever colour they say they are. They should be treated with respect. All they want is to be accepted and emptied which I agree should be done without offending the oppressed bins. I apologise for my mistake, I should know better.

Oppression isn't just colours you know. My beautiful bin was forcibly repatriated because it wasn't slim enough - despite identifying as a size 8.

I am beginning to think that bins are the most oppressed thing ever. Should we set up a Binwall charity?

We have recycling crates round here. Do you think they identify as wheelie bins (even though they don't have wheels, or a lid) ? Will I now have to call my crates a 'bin' even though their physical attributes are just not bin-like?
