And Mandy Rice-Davies is screaming from her grave, Well he would, wouldn't he?

C4 News leading on the Roberts/Giuffre depostion. She claims she had sex with HRH three times in 2001, including once at an orgy, for which she was paid $15,000. Flight logs showing her being delivered by the delightful Ghilaisne Maxwell also enclosed.

Al this was supplied to the Met at the height of the Yewtree fuss, but they seemed far too busy chasing Cliff richard and Paul Gambaccini to take very much interest.

This isn't going to go away.

It's pretty damning. In fact it's completely damning. Either he is so stupid he did not notice he was holidaying in a convicted pedophile's lair or he was aware and was enjoying it.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 24/08/2019 23:36

all the I never seen anything myself statements mean nothing in terms of continuing to hang around a convicted paedophile / child molester

Well yes, that's true - but claiming "I didn't see anything" is all he's got

He'd probably have tried to say "I was never there" if not for the pictures or "I didn't know about his conviction" except that would be ridiculous, so he's just grasping at whatever he can

And Valerian was quite right; he's probably roaring with laughter behind the scenes, knowing that no matter what, he can buy/influence his way out of it and to hell with the plebs

Caucho · 25/08/2019 00:08

Not sure about the roaring with laughter bit. Perhaps though. I expect because of his privilege many think he’s untouchable but you don’t know what outs there. Even if he never faces any legal proceedings people will know. Most people believe he’s done bad things already and whilst I usually don’t condemn people before being found guilty he’s a special case in that he never will be. At the very least we know he’s lying. Bill Clinton and Andrew are up to their necks. Not sure about Trump. I don’t think he got involved in that particular scheme but is likely to have been involved in separate ones. He’s too arrogant to low tow to him

How is it, that when someone is a member of the Royal Family, a girl is ‘forced to have sex with’, rather than raped? Call a spade a spade and give the victim the respect she deserves.

Rachelover40 · 28/08/2019 22:11

I read this earlier (sorry it's the Fail):
www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-7404139/JSP-doubt-Prince-Andrew-face-court-happened-Jeffrey-Epsteins.html
I quite like Janet Street Porter.

What I do not understand about the entire Epstein scandal is how and why young girls/women were forced to perform sex acts with various men. Surely house parties of the type hosted by Epstein, which have always happened unfortunately, are usually 'staffed' by hired women. It's still tacky but at least there's no coercion and the girls are paid a fee. They can leave at any time, they also don't have to go back at a later date if they don't want to.

It's the forcing that gets to me most and, yes, that is definitely rape.

Yeuch.

Daisypie · 28/08/2019 22:51

Have to hand it to the Fail, they are continuing to run the story.

Chickenish · 28/08/2019 23:23

What proof is there that there was no coercion? With rich powerful men?

justasking111 · 31/08/2019 19:26

A judge in New York has said case closed because Epstein is dead. Civil proceedings are now the only way forward perhaps.

Rachelover40 · 31/08/2019 21:01

The Times article is good, thanks for posting it.

TheBigBallOfOil · 01/09/2019 08:21

Love Janice Turner and as ever she’s spot on here. I always get a briefing on the weeks article from DH who thinks she’s marvellous. I think I may have cause to be jealous in truth

TheBigBallOfOil · 01/09/2019 08:25

She is absolutely right. It disgraces us all to have our country represented by this worthless piece of trash. Not only that our taxes go to support him! It’s a constant insult.
Tumbril times - yes, bring it on.

Chickenish · 07/09/2019 10:00

Article in The Times today called the poor girl he raped Epstein’s ‘friend’. Angry

MockersthefeMANist · 07/09/2019 13:24

Tumbrills a bit extreme.

Interview at the Job Centre would do.

Anyone watch The Prince and the Paedophile C4?

Really, really grim.
