Some American TRA believes Caroline to be guilty of WRONG THINK and decrees that she be boycotted.

Also targeted by the ever delightful Arthur Chu, who helpfully retweets all of his own tweets so no one misses out on his absolutely riveting thoughts on all subjects

Only a matter of time, I suppose. Women must NEVER be allowed to talk about their own bodies. Dangerous Terfism, that.

Another day, another woman targeted on twitter.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 25/06/2019 13:16

CCP is really measured, says nothing that isn’t backed up by data

These Twitter SJ warriors just make themselves look bonkers

Pota2 · 25/06/2019 13:21

I wish they would all fuck off

SarahTancredi · 25/06/2019 13:23

Gotta love how in their arguments they end up agreeing with what we have been saying. Grin

Oops....

Apollo440 · 25/06/2019 13:26

Jesus H Christ. These people are insane. Musing why transmen's heart attack symptoms are the same as women's??? And they'd rather women died rather than point out that women have different outcomes due to their biology and higher mortality rates due to sex based default assumptions on men being atypical.

Considering TRAs insist they are actual women, they sure do hate them. A genuine sexist is better in my view, they are mostly dismissive rather than visceral haters.

JoyceJeffries · 25/06/2019 13:27

It would be quicker if the TRAs released a list of women (cunty variety) they approve of.

RuffleCrow · 25/06/2019 13:27

They're like someone who started making an ill-informed point some time ago, lost the thread and finished up just going 'yeah, and those effing feminists too!'

DuMondeB · 25/06/2019 13:36

Arthur Chu is a lol cow on KF. 37 page thread.

‘I won’t read important scientific research because I don’t like the cut of your jib, Caroline’

(Paraphrasing, obvs). What an asshat.

FloralBunting · 25/06/2019 13:36

A rare dip into Twitterhell. They are complaining because her work is about accurate data and the dangerous bias towards male bodies and everything else as default? Some of them are even having a pop at her because she's not written a book about data on trans people?

What a bunch of fucking deadheads.

DuMondeB · 25/06/2019 13:37

Which reminds me, I need to buy a copy of Invisible Women for my stepdaughter.

I shall download the new Harry Potter app too.

CassianAndor · 25/06/2019 13:39

Caroline used to be married to Gia??

so, this woman Kelly thinks no-one should read Caroline's book because she uses the term 'misogynistic men' which Kelly takes to mean trans identifying men, not men? Have I understood that correctly?

She's very angry, isn't she?

HerFemaleness · 25/06/2019 13:44

Can't think of a better endorsement of her book then the fact those anti-science ideologues don't want it to be read.

JustAnotherWoman · 25/06/2019 13:48

Wondered how long it would take for the TRAs to go for Caroline, she focussed on data so a clash with a world of male privilege, fantasy and hurty feelingz was inevitable.

I've bought her book but not read it yet. Must start today.

I wonder who I can gift a copy to Hmm

Floral Grin at your novena, can I request a dispensation for feminist twitter please

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 25/06/2019 13:48

Didn't go as well for Kelly as she expected, eh?

Oh no, so sad.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 25/06/2019 13:49

I mean, the instant "she's talking about men, so she must mean tw...so she must be a TRANSPHOBE!" line of argument was never going to be a strong one.

SunsetBeetch · 25/06/2019 13:50

Surprised any of them were considering reading the book in the first place, as it concerns biology and evidence.

And Arthur Chu is the American Harrop. Awful man.

womenspeakout · 25/06/2019 13:59

I'm really not surprised at all. The book states so many truths about the differences between men and women and how ignored we are, it was actually what made me see the light and become what they call a TERF from being very liberal and thinking I believed 'tans women are the same as all other women'.

It was her book which opened my eyes to there being a huge difference in that every cell in our body is female, and men's are male. You can't change that.

AgileLass · 25/06/2019 14:09

Arthur Chu’s instant retweeting of all his own tweets is one of the most pathetic things I’ve seen on Twitter (and that’s saying a lot).

OP posts:
FloralBunting · 25/06/2019 14:13

I suspect Arthur Chu also winks at himself every time he passes a mirror.

Datun · 25/06/2019 14:16

It was her book which opened my eyes to there being a huge difference in that every cell in our body is female, and men's are male. You can't change that

And that's why they hate it. Which I understand. What I fail to understand is how they can keep trying to articulate that without realising that a) everyone can see it, and b) they are only serving to highlight their own distinction between the males and females they are referring to.

Pota2 · 25/06/2019 14:17

womespeakout I am glad to hear that! At the end of the day, what we do is impacted by what our bodies are. My female body means that I lose several days every month to severe PMS, where my mood and my work suffers considerably. Over my life, it will add up to about 9 years. It doesn’t matter how I identify- I can’t change that. That doesn’t mean that I define myself by my biology, but I live in a world where the default is a male body who does not have monthly PMS that affects their ability to work. That means that my being female puts me at a disadvantage. Same as the default white, abled, heterosexual impacts on those who are poc, LGB or have a disability. Not sure why it’s so hard to fathom for these idiots, especially since it’s only a century since women were given any voting rights. Would be a bit odd if a massive historical problem suddenly vanished wouldn’t it?

AlwaysComingHome · 25/06/2019 14:17

Does he click Like on his own tweets too?

EweSurname · 25/06/2019 14:19
