As far as I can tell from listening to her, and following on Twitter, CCP has steered clear of the TWAW debate. But she concentrates solely on women, and as pp's have said, specifically the biological nature of womanhood being at the root of women's oppression. Not much room for transwomen there - so that's why they're going after her. She's a 'terf' for simply centering women's biology

It's not the first time Caroline has been targetted, is it? I think some blogger or something made a social media song-and-dance about removing Invisible Women from her book club/recommended reading thingy because CPP is a 'terve'. I think that person was a Lib Fem. Probably couldn't handle the cognitive dissonance the book would cause. Stupid, stupid people.

Really annoyed, clicked on a Google link for Blackwell's and I found myself at another retailer (though I didn't realise until half way through ordering). As the payment was processing my browser shut down completely. I then got an email directing me to where I could download my order, despite ordering the hard back. They haven't responded to my email. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Bit worried it's a con given that I was redirected without warning whilst trying to access another site. Email comes from Smarterbook.

CCP wrote a blog post which was one of the things that made me see I was GC. It was about the term 'cis' and how it boxes women into supporting sexism. I found the blog because a nasty person who wears a child's hairslide and blue lipstick was tweeting that nobody was allowed talk to CCP or support her campaign for tax justice for women, because she had written it.
I just went to look for it and... she's deleted it!

Mermoose she probably deleted it because of the hate she gets. I doubt her entire beliefs have changed. People don’t tend to swing the other way from rationally believing in biology to suddenly thinking being a woman is a feeling.

Flap looks like a scam site unfortunately. It sounds like you'll get the book as a PDF but they trick people into thinking it's a real book.

Helen isn't the founder or head of Mermaids. You might be thinking of Susie Green, who's the CEO but also not the founder. Helen has been described as Mermaids Marketing Officer. I'm not sure if that was a voluntary or paid post or whether it's current. Mother of a trans boy. Complained to West Yorkshire Police last year about Miranda Yardley, who is a transsexual but identifies now as male and uses male pronouns. H accused Miranda of transphobia on Twitter. Incredibly this got to court but was thrown out immediately.
