'Inclusive education is non-negotiable'

A tweet from Jess Phillips (retweeted by my mp)
As soon as Westminster resumes I'll be calling on Department for Education to make clear to parents and to change their guidance that inclusive education is non negotiable. The fudge has allowed this crisis and without firm action it will spread. This must end next week.
I assume this is a reaction to what's happening to schools in her area, where parents are objecting to LGBT 'education'.
While I believe it's wrong that the government have made this the responsibility of individual schools, I strongly dislike her attitude of 'we know better than parents' in this and I'd be interested to hear what others think.

Authoritarian/totalitarian can be right wing as well as left. Just as libertarianism can be left wing as well as right.

Yes, but the ideology here is right libertarian (everything resting on an individual sense of self, which obviously poses no challenge to extant power structures) but, because its supporters do not understand this and their self-identification (oh, the irony) is of the left, the enforcement method is left authoritarian.

@SimonJT
no one is making anyone else trans

Read the expose of the Tavistock in The Times. The GIDS psychologists had a dark joke that 'soon there will be no homosexuals left' and 'many of the parents were openly homophobic'.

Again, lumping LGB in with T has muddied the waters considerably. One is not like the others, and objecting to people telling my kid they can change sex (and should, if they are on the wrong place in the jellybaby spectrum) does not mean I have an issue with gay people, but will be made out to be that way. T has fuck all in common with LGB and you cannot object to one without it being made out you object to all, which couldn't be further from the truth. Incidentally I also would obviously not mind if it was along the lines of 'some people have dysphoria and we should not be mean to them' or whatever, but its generally not that at all.
