One of my twitter followers has just been banned for posting the application "to apply to the council about providing free sanitary products to schools".

For some reason, just tweeting this person's own words are a bannable offence on Twitter. This person has friends in high social media places.

I mean, all v laudable to campaign for free sanitary products I'm sure - until you clock this person's absolute creepy obsession with young girls and periods.

This person seems to track everything that's posted about them and even if they've put it in to the public domain, somehow manages to get anything re-used, removed.

I’m absolutely delighted that Yaniv has posted that and want to personally thank yaniv. My middle boy (24) accused me of over reacting and actually said he didn’t believe me about the TRAs. I've had a look, they have def copyrighted some of their images and thumbnails and have filed a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA is a 1998 United States copyright law that implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization. It criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures that control access to copyrighted works)

And if you take a photo- you've got a copyright of it. Whether it was used fairly for criticism, etc would have to be fought in court. But it's actionable on the face of it. Except: Because you presumably did not register any of these copyrights, you have to prove damages - i.e you would have to show that the photo being posted meant that you lost money because you were unable to sell the same photo as part of your business, or some other claimed loss of revenue.

So, I'd say not a leg in the case of the pic used here.

Assuming you don't think I'm kiwi farms (maybe a missing word in your sentence), it seems there was a legal action taken against them but the closest this shall be named person got was to stop them streaming on YouTube.

1st amendment seems to save the farms.
