Caroline, I am honestly almost in tears looking at your Twitter feed tonight.

Her kids have been doxxed by the good doctor.

She is continuing to receive harassment from TRAs. Someone has just sent a pizza to her house.

We all need to get behind her. They think she's a weaker target because of her Catholic views, I'm sure. Let's get on Twitter and report everyone that is sending her abuse.

I have witnessed the effect that the smears, attacks, abuse, and defamation have had on their intended targets. Those individuals are at their wits end and deserve to be publicly defended on these forums

I can clarify that no legal action has been taken against the individual member concerned. There is pending action to identify the individual. If this causes concern then the remedy is straightforward; namely, do not publish defamatory posts targeting individuals. Or do you suggest members of this forum are above the law?

I would add that neither AH nor myself have ever been visited by, spoken to, or otherwise invited to speak with the Police under caution about our online conduct. The subject of this thread cannot say that. And I am aware of at least one member of this forum whose conduct has been legally restrained by one of the highest courts in England & Wales.

Is it the case that everyone has it wrong except those of a certain viewpoint?

No I will not sue 'Roll on Friday' as I would not waste my time on a legal blog. However, read that article very carefully and look at what they did not write.

And do you really think I care about this constant reference to ancient history? Smears and smears. The oldest trick in the book. Have I gone away? Have I stopped tweeting? Have I stopped taking legal action in appropriate circumstances? No, I have not. So smear away, when you attack the individual you no longer have a political argument left.

We can’t report the intimidation and harassment of you and your children, but if we can help in any other way, please let us know

I hope the subject of the unjustified smears is ok. The individual concerned carries out an important public role and is a credit to the medical profession.
