Good news, but I see they are referring to this person as a woman, which I guess means they will end up skewing the stats and making women look more violent as a group.

It's so sad that I'm surprised by this - pleasantly surprised - but for so long nobody has taken these violent threats against women seriously. I'm glad, at last, somebody has.

I've just realised I've been shockingly desensitised to threats of violence against women on social media.

That tweet threatened, promoted and incited violence against women. It's long overdue that these threats against women were taken seriously and acted upon they are a magnitude more serious than the pathetic 'misgendering' or use of the wrong pronouns that TRAs wail is literal violence and report ad naseum to the Police.

Interesting that Dundee Trans Pride state they dropped Peyton from appearing at the event and that they have a "zero tolerance" approach to threats of violence and harassment. Is a penny dropping somewhere?

Woman or transwoman? I think the difference is important in recording crimes.

Police Scotland confirmed that a woman has been charged under the Communications Act.

Figures from Stonewall suggest that two out of five trans people have been threatened with violence in the last five years. And no mention of the sex of the people threatening trans people with violence. ummm I’ve seen a few hairy arsed ‘women’ being nabbed for crimes. I read a story in the paper today about a really horrific crime against a teenager and her adopted ‘mum’ (may they and their boyfriend rot in jail) definitely has a facefull of hair.

We need a campaign to stop women's statistics (v low crime) being combined with transwomen's statistics (comparable offending rate to males...)

Well, me too! It just never occurred to me that anything would go any further - I was quite surprised that this person had even pulled out of the performance.

It is almost as if the world is sort of normal. Except for the crime statistics bit which is still a long way over the other side of the Looking Glass.

They really do need to write down the crite as by a man, woman, trans woman or transman (let’s not get bogged down by transsexuals vs transvestites at this stage). They we will have a clear and accurate picture, rather than have police bods and sociologists scratching their heads over the dramatic rise in women-recorded crime for committing rape, GBH, harassment and and battery.

I’m sure Caroline will fill in the details but I don’t think the police have done anything about all the threats she has received. Why is this? Actual, menacing threats of physical violence.

As a Scot I am hoping the "malicious communications" is just one of the offences this person is charged with. I'm no legal expert but can think of a few possible offences including ones not available in England.

ItsAll I would put it closer to four out five but they will never investigate to find out it would blow their victim hood, most oppressed mantra out of the water.
