Yeah I’d rather a defender of Cursed E than someone who accuses a DV-victim of lying about having ovarian cancer. Rosa is trying to reach compromise with opponents in order to move forwards and keep single sex spaces protected. VA and PP spend their time laughing at the appearance of trans people and shouting ‘penis’ in people’s faces. I do wonder who those in power will listen to (bearing in mind Rosa gave evidence to Scottish gvt who have since backed off with self-ID).

glad everyone seems to have moved on from people just being cruel to people and maybe just maybe people will now try at actually working to address issues in colaberation like cursede and Rosa started to do.

People say PP and her gang have done so much to raise awareness of the GC movement. They have done untold damage in my view and the sooner they get lost the better. I don’t want to be associated with nasty people like that and VA’s comments about Jean are just the latest in a very very long line of things. Give me rational, kind, compromising people any day.

But they don't want that, they know that most of there support would go if given the option to compromise and seek to find workable solutions.

This post from Rosa about CursedE worries me. Integrity in contacting someone who’s being victimised and offering help sounds deeply suspicious when it’s about someone who routinely bashes women. I hope I’m wrong, but it would take a lot for me to have faith that this won’t turn out to be a poisoned chalice.

No, that’s right. PP is transphobic and so is VA. Rosa is not and has done loads to actually fight for and raise awareness of the rights of trans people in other countries. Yet she is vilified by TRAs because she is gender-critical. The hypocrites who slate her have themselves done nothing to fight for human rights beyond endless navel-gazing on twitter.

I admire people like Rosa Freedman, Heather Brunskell-Evans, and Daryl Davis who cultivate "honesty, respect and human understanding" to bridge divides and have conversations. They have remarkable fortitude and composure alongside a mass of compassion.
