This has absolutely made my day! I adored Marilyn and goddammit he's still gorgeous. What a bloody superstar, I hope it gives other blue ticks a bit of courage.

Well yes, in the 80s men wore make up and dresses without anyone feeling the need to call themselves a woman. And not just pop stars either. Plenty of lads I knew rocked eyeliner, lippy and something glamorous on a night out.

Some were gay, some were straight. None were women.
