At the request of Susie Green. A public order offence has been mentioned.

What the shite is the world coming to.

Aren’t there any female police officers who don’t have bezzie mates in low places?

theOtherPamAyres · 17/01/2019 18:37

I would have thought that any complaint about the content of Posie's video should be a matter for civil action.

I can't see how the police have been dragged into it.

Hopefully, Posie has taken some legal advice to:

  • not agree to a "voluntary interview" (let the police arrest if they have grounds to do so)
  • 'No comment' interview
  • Complain to the Independent Office for Police Conduct and local MP
LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 17/01/2019 18:39

Hopefully her lawyer will go after those making vexious complaints and put in a complain to the police for their procedures in this instance and lack of action when she has been threatened and harassed (ie actual real physical threats not ‘ooooohhh hurty feelings’). If this is as a result of having ‘good mates’ then they also need looking at.

Doobigetta · 17/01/2019 20:04

I’m going to look into moving to Wiltshire, as there’s clearly absolutely no crime being committed there.

Thank you, Posie, for dealing with all this ridiculous shit in all our names FlowersWineStar

Adult human female and proud!

PencilsInSpace · 17/01/2019 20:19

#TeamPosie Wine

Happy to crowdfund.

JuneOsbourne · 17/01/2019 20:48

Has anyone heard how Posie got on today? I've been thinking about her.

CallMeSirShotsFired · 17/01/2019 20:52

She did a fb live a bit earlier. She will do a proper update when she's take legal advice on why she can and cannot say about today.

Mner2019 · 17/01/2019 21:01

Caro that is horrific as well. It is unbelievable what you guys have been put through.

MsJeminaPuddleduck · 17/01/2019 21:21

Count me in for the crowdfunding too.

Posie is inspirational - in what she's doing, in how she's doing in and how resolute she is.

It seems like she had a really supportive family unit around her so shout out to them too for enabling her to do what she does.

My daughter is 2. When she's older and all this shite is over (or been replaced by a different variety of nonsense), I'll tell her about Posie.

I'll tell her how, no matter what names Posie was called or how they tried to tell her she was mad or bad or nasty, she just carried on pushing through.

Because Posie knew she was right and, because she wanted to protect her daughter and her daughter's daughter. Just as women have always have each time a new form of man-brewed nonsense has bubbled up to the surface.

Thingybob · 17/01/2019 21:27

Just watched the FB stream and the upshot is that it's being referred to the CPS. She doesn't say if she was offered a caution or not but she obviously didn't take one. Well done Posie, you are inspirational.

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 17/01/2019 21:32

Also ready to crowdfund

Find it quite amazing how much public credibility it's possible to have while giving actual ted talks about ones own unresolved Münchausen syndrome by proxy

R0wantrees · 17/01/2019 21:40

Because Posie knew she was right and, because she wanted to protect her daughter and her daughter's daughter. Just as women have always have each time a new form of man-brewed nonsense has bubbled up to the surface.

Posie Parker's speech at 'We Need To TAlk About Sex' even, Jam Jar Bristol.
May 2018
She asks, "does my 11 r old daughter have the right to go ino a female changing room and not see an adult's penis?"

Thank you. I remember when Orwell was fiction.

Flowers Posie

Shitlandpony · 17/01/2019 21:52

Another one happy to crowdfund. Posie, we are all behind you.

OlennasWimple · 17/01/2019 22:34

FFS

BTW, if anyone is tweeting the Wiltshire Police chief constable, could you point out that he (almost certainly) doesn't have a "gender imbalance" in his senior ranks, it's sex he needs to worry about.

And it's hella patronising to call out the "two women making a huge contribution"

nojellybabies · 17/01/2019 22:38

Just watched the Dr Wobberley parody video from Posie. Important stuff.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 17/01/2019 23:00

I don’t know what’s real anymore 😭

Iused2BanOptimist · 17/01/2019 23:08

Does this mean she may not be able to travel to the USA for her We Need to Talk event with Megan Murphy? I feel quite sure this has been timed as a response to this discussion with Derrick Jensen and her planned trip to the USA.

It's very worrying and quite outrageous.

Katispancuddly · 17/01/2019 23:14

Women who inspired a whole nation to change its laws (after what SG did to 16 year old Jackie) somehow manages to get the police to harass another women over hurty feelz.

JeremyPacman · 17/01/2019 23:20

Just watched the video.

I'm surprised they decided - within the course of the interview it appears - to send it to CPS.

When I reported a rape to the police they took a month - within which they did the sum total of FUCK ALL to investigate it - to decide whether or not it was going to CPS (disclaimer: yes, I can prove the Detective Constable didn't investigate it properly, I have an email from his DCI that confirms this).

I'm wondering why this force have seemingly fast tracked this process for what is seemingly ust a public order offence.

womanformallyknownaswoman · 18/01/2019 02:16

Live stream update on Posie's FB page. Green has complained about 2 sentences (!!) in 2 different videos - so 1 sentence in each video. Posie had a prepared statement so the matter was referred to CPS (as presumably, police don't want to make a decision).

Thankfully Posie is standing strong in the face of this vexatious harassment and her aim to get rid of every occurrence of gender that is used to take away our rights - yeah I'll second that - great aim.

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 18/01/2019 07:01

So stalking victims across the country get told “there’s nothing we can do until something happens to you” but someone using their right to freedom of speech is getting cautioned and the case sent to CPS? What a waste of time and resources.

The police probably know that CPS won’t take this anywhere but those woke points are far to irresistible to them.

TransposersArePosers · 18/01/2019 07:07

Its was Posie's cognitive dissonance video, which someone posted here as 'Epic rant from Posie Parker' or some such title that got me fired up to speak to other people about this, and I am a timid, people pleasing type IRL.

No wonder the TRA lobby want to shut her up.
