I don't think I am permanently banned but it won't let me delete the tweets etc... it won't let me past the email sent for verification so I think I am screwed
Funnily enough I think one of the offending tweets was before the new rules....someone has been trawling through my timeline...well at least it stops them trying to get into women's spaces eh?

The working through a hit list. Fmstomp who breaks twitter rules has seen it as there role to target anyone who not TRAs. Same as the creepy person who shut down trendsgender 1st time.

I’ve signed up to GAB as I know it’s only matter of time, but takes a while for me to get hang on new layout. Hoping someone with more techn will start up another platform that doesn’t dislike women.

So...I have had message saying my second tweet did not go against rules. I know the first one was before the new rules so shouldn't be an issue.

So a twelve hour ban... but I still can't get in. I can only get as far as the verifying my email, which I do and that takes me back to...the 'we have sent you an email' message... round and round in circles.

Have managed to send twitter a message.. it did keep trying to take me back to the sending email message.

I am trying not to be paranoid...

I’ve had people go back through my posts on here and report them quite far back, after the rules changed.

It's a bit Handmaid's Tale isn't it? When banks simply froze women's bank accounts and they instantly had no independent means. Frighteningly simple.

I got a ban as well, same offences. They must just search his name and any offenders are instantly blocked.

Putyourshirtonmartin, I had the same issue. 12 hour ban for saying women don't have penises. Could not get past the verify email phase. Solution: create new free email account and change your email to send verification to. Then you get past the verify email page and you can then delete the offensive tweet.

Btw, really, I can only delete the tweet after already serving the ban time? Jeez.

Pink News reporting on the Twitter policy managed to include a couple of accounts which seem to be likely part of the mass targetting and reporting as well as one suggesting how best to do it:

Because, obviously, what actually happens to the person who was the person before they transitioned?

It's quite Freudian in some ways, a way to kill yourself without having to die. No body to dispose of. Just an insistence that we all agree the former person is somehow dead.
