Joss does seem to get these obsessions. At one point Joss was tweeting on & on about me being Julia Long.

The trans issue encapsulates everything that's wrong with society's attitude to women - that we must budge up for everyone, that our opinions don't matter, we should just STFU and it's out duty to be nice and make everyone else happy, even if it's at a cost to us. So of course it's the main topic in the feminism section. 100 years ago the main topic would have been the absence of voting rights for women. That's just how it goes, we talk about what impacts on our rights and safety.

Thanks for that link princess. Some priceless examples of ageism, sexism, homophobia and downright muddled thinking. It's laughable that they call MN an echo chamber compared to the heavily censored Twitter.

Good lord, I'm blocked Joss Prior, someone I hadn't even heard of until someone linked a video yesterday. Have never interacted on twitter. Some people must trawl twitter threads randomly blocking anyone who posts something they don't like. AFAIK I'm not on terfblocker.

Actually Dr Narrop has my description down to a T - 40 something wife and mother. Wouldn’t describe myself as a homemaker though. He says it like it’s an insult and it isn’t. He does miss out all the other things I am though - individual, friend, accountant, runner. Love the idea that MN is an echo chamber - nothing like term blocker on Twitter then.
