God, Harrop did indeed look utterly deranged. And the weird way he kept saying "I put it to you mrs Keen Minshul" like he thought he was starring in a daytime TV courtroom drama! Posie held it together remarkably well, though could have done with more time to rebut the claims that WYP had actually had any grounds for their investigation.

(I don't think there's any sinister censorship round the youtube clips disappearing, it's just that Sky are shit-hot on defending their copyright and would sue the arse off Youtube if they left them to stand).

Oh, I am so enjoying the comments on the Sky News twitter feed. Increasingly looks like Penis News must have fixed their much-vaunted survey to get the acceptance figure as high as 18%. (And many many references to Monty Python... "where you gonna keep the fetus? In a box?")

It's just occurred to me that he is basically saying that the poster was 'goady and not in the spirit of things'

In the last 24 hours, Harrop has done more for gender critical feminism than most of us could even dream of doing ourselves.

And Posie is a fucking genius. I'm sure she knew narc rage would give that poster legs - but perhaps not quite legs this long! The good thing is that exactly the same thing will happen next time - they can't help themselves.

IIRC Brains is now a woman. I like Thunderbirds but in light of recent developments, I am starting to wonder who's pulling International Rescue's strings. Not on the current kids' TV series version, he's not. And Brains on Thunderbirds is a very nice character (if a bit geeky) and in no way to be compared to the odious Harrop.

Posie and I were stopped in the street by a young man as we left the studio who thanked her for what she said. He said the people in the office were in awe of her saying the things they all know to be true but are being bullied to deny.

Then we saw Michael Gove, but he was on the phone so we couldn’t stop him for a selfie and a chat. We dithered but by the time he finished on the phone he was too far away for us to chase.

Women appropriating the word woman is the most ludicrous thing I’ve heard in a while.

I could not actually work out what Dr Harrop found offensive about the poster, except it was transphobic, but unless I missed it, he didn’t explain why it was transphobic.

Perhaps there has been enough coverage of the issues in recent months that people do immediately get what lies beneath.

That man is a total waste of good air. I am absolutely appalled that he is a northerner and talks like that. His mum must be really embarrassed and ashamed of him. He has some serious issues with hating women.

What offended him was that he knew Posie had arranged for it to be there. I have no idea how many trans women and men there are in Liverpool. I have no idea how many of that group would have known the poster was there, or how many would have seen it in person. I doubt that was really relevant to Dr Twazzock. He just wanted to prevent Posie from getting publicity for her point of view, and he is too dim to have grasped that by taking the action he has (which was entirely predictable and which I strongly suspect Posie was willing him to take) he has increased the visibility of this campaign by a factor of about a million. Thank you, Dr Twazzock!

Well done Posie. It was looking a bit spatty at one point and I'd have liked the GRA mentioned, but I LOVE that she talked about MEN. He did indeed look all sweaty, red faced and ridiculous.
