Posie Parker is just in make-up and about to go up against Mr Harrop. Please tune in and send her lots of good vibes!

He came across as a whining, weirdo creep - the man who comes in the pub and everyone else tries to look the other way in case he sits near them.

Posie might well be too strident for some but I think we need more women on the telly like her who just say it like it is without giving a shit if some don't like it. We have women good at the facts and figures already - hello Dr Nic! - but sometimes you just need frankness. I have nothing against TW; I just don't think they're women - can't get clearer than that.

Melamin · 26/09/2018 17:06

What is his skin in the game? Money? or hidden hobby?

TerfsUp · 26/09/2018 17:07

Go, Posie! I am so proud of you.

SpeckleDust · 26/09/2018 17:07

Fantastic Posie!

Mr Harrop looked like a sweaty, cross man with a terrible line in debate.

How very dare women appropriate the word ‘woman’ Grin

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 17:08

Anyone watching that eve with no prior knowledge of this issue will not have failed to see Harrop's barely concealed rage bubbling away. He really hates women and in particular Posie.

Honestly he comes across as a dangerous bully.

poopsqueak · 26/09/2018 17:08

Is there a link anywhere or will it be clipped up? I am at work and can not watch!

JuneOsbourne · 26/09/2018 17:08

I LOVED the Ms, Mr and Mrs exchanges - made him come across as very misogynistic and silly.

Sorry, but to Joe Public they will both have sounded silly. And valuable time was lost to it. Posie got some solid hits in and it's fantastic that the GC side was given the final word for once. I've also got a lot of respect for her willingness to stand up and be heard when so many of us won't or can't.

But it's so important to stay focused in media interviews. Of course we're cheering her on. We understand all the arguments. To lots of people that would just have been noise though.

Gileswithachainsaw · 26/09/2018 17:09

Managed to catch some.

He looked an idiot. All Wallace and gromity. Couldn't as a Dr define a woman. And looked a twit when confessing he didn't ask their identity in a&e

And omg on appropriating the word woman.i hope that bit makes YouTube

TerfedOff · 26/09/2018 17:09

Going up on YouTube soon. Will post link ASAP.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 26/09/2018 17:09

Is there a link anywhere

LadyBrianAdultHumanFemale · 26/09/2018 17:10

That was fabulous. Posie nailed him.

Knicknackpaddyflak · 26/09/2018 17:10

What is his skin in the game?

As Ova says. He hates women. This gives MRAs and woman haters a very useful, virtuous platform to operate from. No one pro the best interests of women or even mildly interested in women, their lives and their issues, would push for the removal of single sex spaces.

TimIsHavingABadDay · 26/09/2018 17:10

The link says its been removed. I cant figure out how to rewind the sky link

Melamin · 26/09/2018 17:10

Couldn't as a Dr define a woman. And looked a twit when confessing he didn't ask their identity in a&e I thought that bit was quite funny. He went all out to define woman as and identity, then said he didn't use it.

FloralBunting · 26/09/2018 17:11

Dr Nic is the go to for calm reasoning. Posie kicks so much arse as the woman insisting that women have the right to their own word, and to speak about reality. That's her strength. The centre of the story of the billboard is that reality is 'transphobic'. That's where the focus should be to get the point across - it's just not possible to fit in everything that the AWAs are doing via the trans issue. She did good.

TimIsHavingABadDay · 26/09/2018 17:11

Infact it says the vidoe violate youtubes terms of service!

RedDogsBeg · 26/09/2018 17:11

So according to Dr. Harrop women have appropriated the word woman?????

Think that tells us all we need to know about him and the TRA agenda.

I enjoyed Posie asking him if he asks people how they identify in A&E before he treats them and his response "No, of course I don't" which throws his entire argument into the toilet, no need to ask because they are treated according to their SEX which is visible and verifiable unlike feelings in peoples heads.

poopsqueak · 26/09/2018 17:11

The link has had the video removed

WasabiSpring · 26/09/2018 17:11

Tried to watch online and got an earful of Corbyn party conference speech instead. Just randomly he sounds a bit odd in tone. Just finding his delivery strangely paced.

But will check out the Youtube link!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 26/09/2018 17:12

Ugh.
both links removed.

that was quick

arranfan · 26/09/2018 17:12

Interesting how keen he was to present himself as a fresh-faced, reasonable representative in the style of his previous media appearances about A&E - not a hint of the Gun Oil and Amsterdam Gold etc. of a previous weekend's jollifications...

wiccamum · 26/09/2018 17:13

Wtf?!? The videos been removed? Violates what? How?

Free speech be damned!

Anlaf · 26/09/2018 17:13

Yeah it was messy with the name bits and the accusations of twitter badness

But fuck me posie at the end "we knew when we did it that chaps like you would try to control what we think and what we say. We know this. And that's why we did it"

Well well done

OvaHere · 26/09/2018 17:14

Sorry, but to Joe Public they will both have sounded silly.

I think in part this is true. It was obvious from the start (Harrop's fault I feel with his opening gambit) that this was a continuation of an online feud. Some people will have switched off at that point.

Nevertheless Posie got some good points in and it must be so hard to think on your feet in that situation.
