Shon Faye and the Stickers

So Shon has been ripping down a pro-woman sticker allegedly found in a toilet and taken some selfies. This picture says a lot about Shon, but not quite what Shon thinks it does.

A picture of yourself holding up a sticker which says 'women's sex based rights' which you have proudly ripped up. Not a great look is it?

Just read Shon's accompanying article in Penis News.

"Luckily for me, I pass".

In what universe do these people live?

NotTerfNorCis · 05/09/2018 21:58

Twitter elements are completely missing the point about the brown stripes in the flag. Twitter TRAs, you are othering people with your black and brown stripes! Do you have a stripe for every skin colour, or are some just assumed?

ElenOfTheWays · 05/09/2018 22:03

The white triangle on the left in this flag, what does it stand for? Nappies?

Snort. Grin

MagicMix · 05/09/2018 22:05

This is hilarious. What a spectacular own goal.

OlennasWimple · 05/09/2018 22:10

Did you know that there are marked differences in the way that male and female arms hang down (known as the "carrying angle") which is also noticeable when men and women lift and rotate their forearms?

"Luckily for me, I pass".

In fairness, I wouldn't think 'male' if I saw a photo of SF.

MrsFogi · 05/09/2018 22:22

Thanks for the pics of Shon, I've been inspired to try to double my average number of stickers "stuck" from tomorrow.......

heresyandwitchcraft · 05/09/2018 22:25

I watched the beginning of this video, and got a familiar sensation. Similar to whenever a man decides to talk over me, invalidate my point of view, gaslight me, insist I center him, and force me to adopt his point of view...

Curious....

Where can I get me some stickers please? The link above was for posters and postcards....

Anlaf · 05/09/2018 22:33

Nope! But when OH wakes up we shall have to experiment with this. Is the carrying angle when your arms are just by your sides in a standing position?

Jarveau · 05/09/2018 22:39

More power to Shon, I say. Perfect poster boy for modern trans ideology, Shon behaves like the classic old-skool woman-hating, sneering bloke. The more publicity Shon gets, the better. Go Shon!

The way the new pride flag looks - with the trans shaped arrow encroaching on the rest of the rainbow, eating it up, kind of reminds me of the cartoon map of Europe at the beginning of Dad's Army.

'who do you think you are kidding Mr. TRA
If you think real women are done?'

AngryAttackKittens · 05/09/2018 22:47

Re the ugly new flag with an arrow added, I get that the pastel pink and blue is the trans flag (pretty creepy honestly, using baby colors), it really does look like the trans part is bulldozing its way into the rainbow, which is more apt than was likely intended.

Meanwhile, Shon the Randy Budgie is as desperate for attention as ever, and has clearly not thought the metaphor of symbolically ripping up women's rights through. Or perhaps has and thought "yep, that is absolutely what I am trying to say, so I am satisfied with this image".

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 05/09/2018 22:48

Shon might "pass" in some of the very staged, well lit, filtered photo. But that pic striding along with the, ahem, "mumsnet" bag is definitely a long haired male bodied person.

I do sometimes wonder if Shon is happy. As a quite pretty gay young man, I reckon Shon used to have a lot of offers. Do you think Shon really believes that straight men are interested? And wouldn't most gay men find the insistence on being a woman a turn off? Or do they just put up with it?

BettyDuMonde · 05/09/2018 22:50

This one?

RE Passing, optimism is a lovely thing, isn't it?

They really don't realize that having the brown and black stripes to represent POC implies either that a. gay POC aren't actually gay, or b. straight POC are also "queer" somehow.

Both ideas are racist as hell.

BettyDuMonde · 05/09/2018 22:53

I think this was Shon’s sartorial response to the ‘Get the L Out’ ladies.

Presumably ‘Shifting Constellations support Shifting Constellations’?

Betty
That's the one!

Not really mum on a shopping trip more "this is the only bag I could find to take to Halfords / B&Q and I'm really embarrassed"

AngryAttackKittens · 05/09/2018 22:54

Still amused by the photo of Shon at Pride looking like a sulky teenager whose mum made them go.

thebewilderness · 05/09/2018 22:59

Stunning and brave, I guess.
