If not here goes....

(If there is can someone link for me please? Have searched to no avail.)

I am Spartacus.

I won’t stand by and watch gender critical feminists be thrown under the bus to pander to a very vocal minority who wish to rewrite biology, feminism and common sense.

Calling others childish and silly while talking about "nerf darts" (whatever they are)...righto. Hmm

pinkgirl1234 · 21/06/2018 04:37

Ok, just googled "nerf darts" - still don't see the relevance. Seems a bit, well, lame actually.

Oh good grief, the kitten lying on my lap has just done the stinkiest fart! Now my posting about that is childish and silly. Grin

Coyoacan · 21/06/2018 05:10

I am Spartacus, I think that teaching children that they can change sex is totally wrong and leads to child abuse.

pinkgirl1234 · 21/06/2018 05:18

So sorry about my last post everyone! I was mid post and was taken by surprise by stinky little Oberon!

Something sensible now - I read recently that the WHO no longer classify gender dysphoria as a mental disease. They have renamed it gender incongruence. Well, according to the Mail anyway. I haven't seen anything on here about it although I can't keep up with it all.

thebewilderness · 21/06/2018 05:24

Just since Monday it is a medical condition.
I expect they will be denying counseling and mental health treatment to people on the basis of it being a medical condition that can be treated with drugs and surgery.

thebewilderness · 21/06/2018 05:31

Here is the latest on it. They want people to tell their doctor so they can be referred to a gender clinic for treatment.

Thanks thebewilderness. That NHS page makes for grim reading.

TransplantsArePlants · 21/06/2018 05:42

Indeed

'Assigned at birth'. Saints preserve us

pinkgirl1234 · 21/06/2018 05:54

I know!

dianebrewster · 21/06/2018 06:05

Still an adult human female, still Spartacus

SeahorsesAREhorses · 21/06/2018 06:15

I recognise biological sex.

I think lesbians are entitled to same sex relationships without harassment.

No child is born in the wrong body, no body needs fixing.

Sex based protections were hard won and are much needed. Women suffer in countries where they don't exist.

I want to get rid of sexist stereotypes so both sexes can wear what they like.

I'm Spartacus.

ballsballsballs · 21/06/2018 06:22

Still Spartacus.

MnerXX · 21/06/2018 07:13

#sexnotgender

Dragoncake · 21/06/2018 07:33

I used to be a non-Spartacus. Once the sexism of gender ideology was pointed out, I couldn't unsee it.

Having female biology increasingly hampers me as I go through life. As a young woman I thought that it would be downhill all the way from puberty onwards.

Sex matters. It is not the same as gender.

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 21/06/2018 07:48

I want to add my voice to this. I can echo what some posters are saying - I am not as eloquent as some if you, I don't have an in depth knowledge of the issues involved - however I have lurked on all the relevant threads and MN has opened my eyes to so many truths.
I am Spartacus.

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 21/06/2018 07:48

of you

RedorBlack · 21/06/2018 07:54

New Spartacus late to the vocal party (sorry) but ready to be counted.

I am woman, hear me roar.

mancheeze · 21/06/2018 08:32

Still Spartacus

Men will never be women. EVER.

Ifonlyus · 21/06/2018 08:33

I am Spartacus - for the sake of my daughters and my mother and all the other females who suffer due to their biological sex.

OrchidInTheSun · 21/06/2018 09:01

Still Spartacus

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 21/06/2018 10:10

MsSensible Recently delurked. I'm not a great deep thinker or very eloquent so don't get too involved in discussions.
Just checking in to show support!
Me too! It can be quite daunting when you read the very well informed and eloquent posts from the more experienced feminists, but all of our voices are valid. Flowers

I am Spartacus, today, tomorrow, and onwards.

Human beings cannot change sex. Gender is a social construct and is solid as air.

madja · 21/06/2018 14:09

I feel the same. Can only wish I could express myself as well as some of you do. But I'm here lending my support, which is something I suppose.

MyRelationshipIsWeird · 21/06/2018 14:14

The more we read a become involved in the discussion, the more knowledgable we become. We’re the ones waiting in the wings in case the A team get banned Grin
