I won’t stand by and watch gender critical feminists be thrown under the bus to pander to a very vocal minority who wish to rewrite biology, feminism and common sense.

Men do not belong in female spaces
A woman cannot have a penis
I am not afraid to speak the truth.

Feminism has to centre females. The old fashioned cunty ones. And one of the central points has to be women’s ability to say no.

No. I will not say a man can become a woman.
No. I will not call a man a lesbian.
No. I will not open up our hard won spaces to men, even if they pretend they are women.
No. I will not be quiet about this.

What’s the collective noun for a bunch of GC feminists then? I’m sure there will be some choice suggestions from certain posters!

I’m thinking we go along the line of storks - a mustering - or perhaps pheasants - a bouquet 💐 or OF warren.

Am flabbergasted to read that HopePink has been banned from Twitter for misgendering himself/herself. How is that even possible?. Wtf?! Surely their whole point is that you are whatever you say you are?

New posters finding MN, lurkers delurking in solidarity, and a few former 'regular posters' I'd not seen for a while quietly reappearing.

It is heartening to see so many delurkers isn’t it. And there are so many more in RL - when you pluck up the courage to speak about it you realise that the pervading view of the twitterati is not representative at all of most adults. Obviously some young people who get their ideas from YouTube have been indoctrinated, but that’s because they don’t have the life experience to see the issues with this ideology. I’m hopeful that with time it will all be ironed out, it’s just a question of how many women and girls have to be disadvantaged in the meantime.

Still Spartacus, through many name changes. Biology is biology. No amount of stamping and wailing will alter that.

I am Spartacus and so are my daughters. Gender is a cultural construct, as genuinely innate as neck ties on a preacher.
I live 'as a woman' by virtue of going about my daily business in possession of a vagina that I have had since I was born.

To my work colleague who, in a meeting, said 'I'm Spartacus' to something completely non-related to women's rights, but in a room full of females.

I have a feeling you and I are here. It's not something that's said very often in any other context.

I'm spartacus. Recently delurked. I'm not a great deep thinker or very eloquent so don't get too involved in discussions.
Just checking in to show support!

Also Spartacus. Sex is a protected characteristic.

Have you all seen the womens place campaign to force councils etc to correct their diversity policy statements? So many used gender! There is a spreadsheet of doom out there somewhere.

Would be interesting to check policies of some of the big plc’s I think, I would imagine there are some errors there too.

Sex is decided at conception and cannot be changed.
Women and girls must be allowed to set boundaries, and those boundaries must be respected.
Men must not be allowed to identify their way into the sex segregated spaces that have been created for the protection of females.
Lesbians do not do dick!

Concern trolling is the regular m.o. here from those wanting attention who like to trash women's rights and their spaces - it says more about them that they have the compulsion to engage in those tactics - they know no limits, getting off on women's distress - there's a lot of them around - pretty untoward behaviour
