I won’t stand by and watch gender critical feminists be thrown under the bus to pander to a very vocal minority who wish to rewrite biology, feminism and common sense.

I am Spartacus. I wasn’t always. I once thought it was nice and inclusive that Caitlin Jenner won an award as Woman of the year. The brilliant, eloquent, informative and witty women opened my eyes. There is no unseeing the misogyny. If those women are being targeted, suppressed and banned then I am ready to step forward, and hope I can be half as good as them.

The protected Characteristics are SEX and gender reassignment. I believe the protected characteristics should be SEX and gender non conformity. I believe the 2004 act is a hangover from the homophobic days of gay marriage being illegal and should be repealed.

I don't think our numbers are dwindling at all. Since my disquiet first began (and that was when Jenner got that Woman of the Year award from Cosmopolitan or wherever and simultaneously made the 100 women of the year on the Women's Hour list and I thought WTAF?!), our numbers have swelled. 12,000 have signed the petition to consult with women before enshrining gender identity in law, there are lots and lots of grassroots organisations springing up of women organising together to raise awareness, crowdfunders for Posie and Jennifer and Transgender Trend have raised thousands. Many of us are afraid or unable to stand up publicly but we are many.
