I've been away. I saw the guidelines before I left, but due to limited Internet I have not kept up. WTF has happened?

There were some "clarifications". They didn't go over to well with many commenters.

I have just been brave for me and posted on that situational awareness thread. Would some of you have a look and tell me what you think of my post? I don't know if it is any good but I needed to say it.

boring personal update - trying to up my workouts and today was meant to be day 2 for a tough one, but I'm like, ugggh....so maybe I won't.

I'm not trying to be Tomb Raider but I had a lot of aims for end of summer and wanted to work out outside as much as possible while the summer was still occurring. Fit in around shifts and planning can go a bit AWOL!

I know a firefighter who works out 2 hours a day almost every day. I don't know how she does it. I do know that if I'm stuck in a fire I want her to rescue me though!

I have done my workout. Mentally moaned for the first 20 minutes but after that it was fine. Not joining the fire service, but you know, getting fitter

tomorrow no chance to work out at all so automatic rest day. I can already tell I'm going to need it!

(not really convinced I have asthma....be interesting to see what happens to the lungs of a born & raised & long living Londoner if she moved to a place with clean air...)

I'm a big fan of Grey's Anatomy. Sometimes on the show, they say, if you don't know where to start, start anywhere. Just pick somewhere. Just sharing that in case it's useful - it has been helpful to me in the past.

I'm watching House box sets for the nth time and finding it very hard not to shout out 'It's not lupus!' at inappropriate times.

I really got into House a couple of years ago and then Netflix pulled it without warning mid-January. I'm still not over this as it would have been perfect watching through the winter months!

Ah I keep meaning to watch house and not getting round to it. Must try harder...

I now have rhubarb gin and soda water (was the only mixer I had - it's not too bad actually)

I have accidently poured myself a gin and Madagascan cola I thought it was the pink tonic water.

I've been trying to work out who old I was when I knew what colour my eyes were. It was about 5/6. I used to ask people and get different answers. I thought they were blue but they're not.

Are they bluey-greeny-grey? I think this type can change a bit. I would say I have green eyes but am pretty sure when I was small, I was told or described them as blue....
