Why was it deleted?

I wish MNHQ would just women up and say why they get deleted

I know thats rude but the alternative of 'sorry for the delay we will delete now' when you know the thread has had the shit reported out of it is just a bit of a shaggy dog story

I may be confused though...but i thought MNHQ kicked the OP out and said so on all the relevant threads quite early on

Or do i have my threads confused...in which case i need to apologise!!

waddle I had to think HARD, but surely no one would just eat the crumble or stewed fruit... at least that’s what I’ve assumed, as a connoisseur of crumble GrinHalo

Waddlelikeapenguin · 09/06/2018 23:40

smell you see I love stewed fruit with or without crumble & happily eat crumble by itself raw by spoon so all options are fine by me it was the expression of crumble without topping that had me flumoxed what with the actual crumble being the topping ConfusedGrin

I would like to add that imo the very best breakfast ever is cold fruit crumble Star

I am wondering a bit why this thread is still here.

I haven’t made the alcoholic blackberry McDonald’s frozen lemonade yet- ds was out tonight and made me postpone til tomorrow.

Maybe MNHQ want ro see how the alcoholic blackberry McDonald’s frozen lemonade turns out? Grin

I, for one, am grateful for MN deleting the post. It had become far too entertaining. My house is a pigsty, I have charts to finish, the menagerie of pets need to be tended to, and here I am on MN.

Plus, I'm trying to get back on the wagon and ditch sugar/limit carbs again. (Got some baby weight to drop here.) Because of this thread, I actually made an apple crisp and ended up eating most of it myself. A la mode. And my muffintop grows...

I made pear and raspberry crumble for pudding, with chopped almonds in my crumble mix. It was heavenly! I used too many raspberries though - they completely took over.

It was delicious-but actually nicer without the blackberries, which is a shame. Strawberry sauce in the bottom of the glass, then ice, lemonade and vodka in a blender. We also tried with limoncello but it was too sweet.

Rufus.... I have now carefully saved your cherry cake recipe (just in case it is snatched away by those Mumsnet censors again!) and am looking forward to cooking it with relish....

Heavens - I thought I almost always agreed with the wise GC comments on here... but am going to have to part ways with you on crumble! Fabulous pud..... made with oats, chopped pecans, bit of brown sugar and vanilla midst the usual mix....
