Transgender Trend crowdfunder to be reinstated

According to Andrew Gilligan:

Crowdfunder has told me that Transgender Trend's resource pack "does not break our terms and conditions" and its fundraiser will be reinstated. Big victory against trans lobby bullies.

This is very good news. I'm very relieved - and impressed - Crowdfunder did a proper investigation. As many of us guessed, the initial block on Transgender Trend's account was generated by an organized TRA campaign but for once they didn't succeed. Small victories but all victories matter.

Awesome - common sense and an opportunity to get the truth into schools

It's a great resource pack and a lot of research has gone into it.

It's absolutely encourages support for children who identify as trans.

What it doesn't do is suggest you provide an environment that sways the child directionally.

It's equally very measured in talking about the responsibility schools have to non trans children so that there is balance and equality.

This is why the TRA's don't like it.

I think you'll find in time that most people will view the treatment of children suffering from GD with highly invasive medical drugs and procedures as abuse.

Those that don't right now are people who don't understand the facts and implications.

I also find it ironic that some of the biggest advocates for child transition on SM are former middle aged men with children.

Interesting moral compass wrt a need to validate their own transition (AGP?) through removing the life options they have experienced themselves such as fertility.

Other main advocates are women with trans kids. Well once you've gone down the route of drugs and surgery you're not going to admit it you got it wrong are you? No, you double down, create a charity and voila - we are back to self affirmation.

Truth be told, for some children transition will be the best response. However, based on research to date, it's a minority of those who question their gender identity.

So all need to be supported, but that process should not provide an automatic gateway into social and medical transition.

They will be besides themselves with rage that their mass reporting/mass spamming did not work this time. I mean, the strength of their attacks even got fucking Milwall to cancel a feminist meeting and David Davis said he had never seen anything like the abuse his office got. But it seems slowly but surely the tide is turning and places/people are willing to stand up to them. The bullies won for too long.

It's not just that it didn't work their reporting actually brought a lot of publicity to the crowdfunder. People who didn't know anything about it, know now.

£700 raised this afternoon. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Heh yes. I expect it to reach its target at least twice as fast as it would have otherwise. Its also directed a lot more people towards the school pack so they can see what the fuss is about, and seemingly (admittedly twitter is a different universe to the real world sometimes) more people are coming to the realization that actually..there is not any hate in TTs school pack, and that it mostly talks total sense and is supportive of kids who say they are trans, while also being sensible about how to support them.

I donated directly when the Crowdfunder got pulled and will do it again now via Crowdfunder. It's really worthwhile and I am tremendously grateful to Crowdfunder for pausing and listening to the evidence.

Ariel is the one who boasted about phoning up parliament using different fake voices to try and stop the WNTT meeting hosted there going ahead. They are absolutely utterly bonkers, not a reasonable person at all.

I'm convinced Ariel is a Twitter troll no one can lack awareness that much that they don't see what they are doing harm's their own cause

I am saddened by how many young people have no idea what 'literally' means.

I suppose the pack could kill if you bashed someone really hard over the head with enough of them.
