Let's meet up - find/start gender critical feminist groups

There have been a couple of threads recently about finding/starting local gender critical feminist groups in real life, see here and here.

How about we just do it!

If you feel comfortable doing so, please post your nearest large town/city and we can then contact each other by pm (after due diligence with an advanced search) and talk to each other at a local level, and then organise for groups to meet up in real life.

I'll start. I'm in the far north of Scotland so don't really expect anyone very close to me, but would love to find anyone who could meet up in Inverness.

I also know of groups who meet up in Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh who I would be willing to pass on your details to.

Many of us are quite rightly cautious of being out in public on this issue, but are simultaneously desperate to find like-minded women. If anyone has any better ideas for us connecting in real life, please post.

Your best bet would be to contact fair play for women and they’ll put you in touch with groups local to you.

Or ReSisters UK & Ireland - they have a FB page and a twitter account. Pretty sure there's a group near/in Coventry.

I have been actively looking for a local group but realize after much searching that they are either very underground or simply don't exist. I have scheduled a visit with my neighbor as I think she is kindred.

Largest close city: Tampa Bay, Florida, US

I would be interested. I see a couple of people on here posting Kings X / Euston, which I might be able to do - but not having to go into London would be easier (further north up the Thameslink).

Sackrifice - I met up with two potential resisters in Nottingham. I am going to the Leicester meeting. I also have a contact in Leicester who is keen to start a group there or join with Nottingham.

Youvegotaxes - messaging is quite easy, but you have to use the browser not either the tablet or mobile apps. Essentially, find a post from the person, there's a Message poster button on its header. To read and manage messages, click the My Mumsnet icon in the top right corner of the talk page and choose Inbox from the menu.

Easy when you know how but completely obscure if you mainly use the app!

Oh, and you'll be prompted to enter your email and password to log in somewhere along the line doing that unless you've logged into the browser version before.
