I still haven’t forgiven SW. He was doing a grand job reminiscing about how good girl guides was for girls, and an important single sex space, even for him as a former queen’s guide. Until he started reminiscing about shagging scouts at camp and refusing to acknowledge that bunking up girls with male bodied teens wasn’t de rigueur. For a girl that went through an unremarkable girlhood and young womanhood, and enjoyed the single sex spaces available to her, he was pretty adamant that no other girl should be extended that privilege. Gah.

I don't have a disregard for the safety of children. I've not said anything that could even be interpreted as that. If this particular individual case is everybody's business including yours I assume you've taken steps to involve the appropriate authorities?

They did try here to change school admission forms to "Parent one and parent two" here a few years ago.

No school enforced it and those few schools that did saw their admissions forms changed to read mother and father again.

They have also tried to introduce gender studies from preschool but that was also blocked and they now have to have written permission from the child's parents that the child can attend such classes.
Thankfully most parents say no.

I think you need a mindset shift from trying to broker some kind of compromise to some sort of more Gloria gaynor based stance, because if I’d built up a business like this, I wouldn’t be compromising.
