Trigger warning ........breast cancer

Hi im hoping someone can help me as im spiralling...
Ive had breast cancer worries for a while i have just had a baby shes 13 weeks old..

I deceloped a small area on my breast that become sore and red..having bad anxiety i jumped straight to breasr cancer but my docter isnt concerned.i then felt a lump in the nipple but this must have popped instantly as no longer there.

I then kept looking at my breast and noticed my right breast by my nipple looks indented...
Ive been examined by 4 differnet docters all who have felt the area and felt no areas of concern.ivw been in that much of a panic they have referred me to the breasr cljnic for reassurance..one saying there 99 percent sure it isnt cancer.

However now when i hold my breast and use 1 finger to feel around in that area i can feel a small tiny like dot which is harder than the surrounding area its tiny about size of a grain of rice but ive gone into turmoul and now fear its that small no docters can feel..i no i shouldnt examan myself with 1 finger but ive found it now and cant stop ...
My docrer said i will feel lumps and bumps if i feel like this and there only referring me to reassure me as ive been examined by about 4 docters in a week

Please help me i think im dying i havnt eaten for 4 days

Whether there’s a lump or not isn’t relevant - I had no lump and had breast cancer -if you’ve been checked by several doctors I’m sure it’s fine-but didn’t you say you are going to the breast clinic? It was the mammogram that showed mine so once you e been to the clinic and had a mammogram you will know for sure. Breast cancer does not spread very quickly. So it won’t be in your back.
Try to eat some good healthy foods while you wait for your clinic appointment to keep your energy up. You will need it for your lovely new baby.

If you had no lump what were your symptoms pleaze

None -I am old enough to have the routine mammogram which showed it up.

Bex4567 · 06/05/2025 14:59

You obviously need psychological help. You are taking valuable appointments despite being told not to worry. Logic should tell you your breasts will feel different post parturum. Investigate having an ultrasound or mammogram privately and see your GP about anxiety. Enjoy your new baby instead of obsessing about this.

How is it axiety when i can feel something there

9 out of 10 Brest lumps are NOT cancer

I’ve had two mammograms for lumps both nothing

13 weeks post baby of course it’s hormones/ milk related.

Said kindly, get doctor appointment for your out of control anxiety asap

MinnieMountain · 30/05/2025 20:33

So you know better than the doctors do you OP? Honestly.

You're not medically trained.

You're not following the correct procedure.

You have had five experts examine you correctly and all have concluded that you are fine. If you won't accept that then no amount of reassurance will help you.

You sound like you are in crisis and need mental health care. You should be able to call 111 and request a mental health assessment.

No I wouldn’t still worry OP. I would trust the experts. As I did when I actually had breast cancer and when I got told that the lump I’ve had in my breast for 20 years and hasn’t killed me is a benign fibroid.

So?

The doctors have still told you it’s not cancer. Either trust their years of training or not but stop taking up appointments that people who might actually have breast cancer could use.

Ultrasound im 39

Then you haven’t got cancer. My cancer was found via ultrasound and that is what it’s for, to pick up even the tiniest of tumours. You haven’t got cancer but you have got health anxiety and need to have treatment for that.
