Hysteroscopy

I am due to have a Hysteroscopy tomorrow and to be honest I'm shitting myself.Does anyone here have any experience of having the procedure done and how was it?.

Hia, I’ve not had a bleed since the one off in July. I rang the hospital yesterday and found out that the MRI hasn’t been analysed by the Imaging Dept yet! Estimated time of results is 6-8 weeks 🤦‍♀️ Much longer than I thought and feel myself slipping down the list of priorities.

6-8 weeks for results is a very very long time when you're waiting,especially when your mind is already in overdrive,I know they're probably swamped but bloody hell,it's such a worry and I'll be glad for both of us when we finally get our results so we know what's going on one way or the other.I try not to think about it but it always pops up in my head throughout the day.
Ive not had any further bleeding so I'm trying to take that as a positive.
Who'd have a bloody fanny eh?🤣

Do you have any results yet?,I'm still waiting 5 weeks later 😬,they said 3 weeks but I've not heard anything yet.

Hi, just this week! So 4-5 weeks post MRI the consultant who was in the theatre with me rang and said it was all clear! Thank god! She said I would get an invite to go back in 4 months for a review so hopefully that’s it for me and it was an unexpected one off 🤞

It must be such a relief!
I'm going to give my consultants secretary a ring tomorrow and try to chase it up as it's been 6 weeks today and neither the GP or I have heard anything. X

@MrBallensWife - yes, do that as I've actually had a follow up appointment for next month and not the 4 months which I was expecting and I would hate the thought of you not receiving the same attention x
