5'8 and 11st..

Would you say 5'8, 11st and a size 14/16 is big?

I'm 5"4 and 11.5st and I'm a size 12. Big bum,hips and big boobs and a small frame, waist.i know everyone I'd different so don't feel like your big. Don't compare yourself xx

I just saw you pic. Your absolutely gorgeous. What a beautiful figure you have a lovely pear shape. Google pearshape and there's some great tips on how to dress to accentuate your shape. I'm quite short at 5'4 but have very strong legs. I have an hourglass shape so do dress to flatter my shape. I'm 11st 7lb

imho, it's just slightly relatively large, as in marginally larger than is best for health.

The waist:height ratio is just beyond recommended.
I'm 5'8" btw, but I'm not pear shaped (OP is pear shaped).

It's so strange how everyone carries weight different isn't it. I think I must carry all mine on my hips and tummy which is why I have to get bigger sizes.. none of the weight is on my boobs that's for sure! This was my weight today and the bikini I had on.. 16 haha.

You also have your bikini tied tight at the sides, if you tied it looser you'd be a smaller size

When I was 10st I was a 10

11st a 12

12st 14

I'm the same weight and height and a size 12. We have very similar figures but I have ginormous boobs. I'm more comfortable at 10 7 but it's been many years and I'm post menopausal.

I'm taller (6ft) but at 11 stone I'm a size 8/10.

I'm 5'8" and just over 11 stone. I think it depends on two things:

1. Your shape
2. where you shop

I'm pear shaped so a size 14 on the bottom and size 12 on the top. I can wear a size 10 waist in A-line skirts. And depending on where I shop I can go anywhere from size 12 - 16 in everything.

I'm just under 11 stone but carry weight around my stomach. As I am pear shaped (fairly narrow waist) I can wear a size 12 with loose fitting clothes from some shops.

The sizes in H and M make me angry. They must make weight conscious young girls think they are enormous!

H&M sizing is waaaay off. It makes sense now.

5'8" here to and 9st 12 aged 54.
Size 10 or 8

This thread just shows how bonkers our clothes sizing is. Utterly variable, and never recovered from the vanity-sizing binge of the 1990s (when it was an avowed practice, nothing to do with revalorisation against population measurements)

Someone that height/weight is in the healthy range, and I would expect them to be about a size 14.

I'm surprised you're a size 16. I'd say 12 or 14 with those measurements

I’m 5’7 and 11st is small for me, I’m about 2st more at the moment and wear a 14 in trousers and a 12 in tops / dresses. A lot of my weight is in my legs. I think I must have a dense body!

I'm exactly the same height and weight. And same clothes size!

Clearly I'm overweight and need to loose some but I'd be royalty kisses off if I list 3 st and was still a size 16!

It is crazy how different we all carry weight.

I am 5’8” and weigh just under 10 1/2 stone. I wear size 8-10 (mostly 10) clothing. When I weighed a stone less, I looked anorexic. Bones sticking out everywhere.

You look amazing in the photo you’ve posted OP!

It's difficult to judge really. It depends how you carry your weight and you can weigh more if you have muscle.

I am five foot 11 and just under 11 stone. I have a flabby stomach and feel better at 10 and a half stone. Even at that weight I wear size 14 jeans.
