The Housemaid is a brilliant read, proper page Turner.

I've just started this and really enjoying it so far. I wouldn't say the author is the ~best~ writer but the actual storyline is pretty gripping.

There is - The Family Remains, which was also very good.

I like Lisa Jewell's novels. She's an auto-read for me. As is Jane Harper. Her Aaron Falk trilogy are superb, starting with The Dry. Her standalone novel, The Lost Man is utterly brilliant, so atmospheric in its description of the Australian outback. * *

Thank you for this, I read The Lost Man and loved it.

Just finished None of This Is True, by Lisa Jewell. Brilliant til about the last 10-20%, then went a bit flat.
