Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

Confusion- Thanks

Congratulations for sticking to it- I found that I chose the takeaway easy option during our recent bereavement and I gained 1.5lbs

backinaminute · 02/05/2013 22:50

I have lost 2lbs at WI tonight which means I have lost a total (drumroll please) of 3 stone. I never thought I would have got this far and I'm sure this thread is the biggest support.

Hurrah, the end is in sight. Grin

Funbird · 02/05/2013 23:00

Hello ladies. I am new to the site. I have really enjoyed reading your post. I have been at WW for two weeks and am getting on with it now. It is really encouraging to see you all doing so well. Going to make cake pops at the weekend 1 point each.

backinaminute · 02/05/2013 23:07

1 point cake pops sound fab, you will have to report back

Furball · 03/05/2013 07:01

confusion - sympathies to you Flowers

We're obviously here if you need us Smile

OhTheConfusion · 03/05/2013 08:11

Thanks Fled and Furball, I just haven't been able to face food. Off to Glasgow this morning to take my younger sister birthday shopping so best paint a smile on. For those of you who are my fb friends his 'story' is linked to my page... have a read then squeeze your own little ones even tighter tonight. x

backinaminute · 03/05/2013 08:22

Confusion - I hope you're ok, it doesn't sound good ThanksThanksThanks

Neeko · 03/05/2013 08:45

PiHigh · 03/05/2013 10:01

flatmouse · 03/05/2013 10:32

confusion sorry for your loss.

backin 3 stone? T h r e e stone!? That is fan-fluffin-tastic! Well done :)

Steady week here - cafe rouge tonight! Have upped exercising by continuing quest to run - hoping Monday WI is good!

OhTheConfusion · 03/05/2013 17:05

Thanks everyone, you are all fab. x

AddictedtoCrunchies · 03/05/2013 19:04

confusion I'm terribly sorry for you loss. Thanks Thanks

Neeko I am indeed a size 9. Massive feet like my dad but I am 5' 11" so guess I'd fall over with smaller feetHmm If I could change anything about my body I'd have lovely dainty size six feet.

backinaminute you're amazing. That's a fabulous loss Wine Thanks

Neeko · 03/05/2013 20:18

Crunchie I have size 6 feet in a family of very small feet. That's the first time anyone has ever described them as dainty. Thanks Wink Bet u would look all out of proportion with smaller feet and bet you get great shoe sale bargains Grin

Three stones is tremendous. Well done backinaminuteSmile

AddictedtoCrunchies · 03/05/2013 20:22

Sadly very few places even sell a nine so buying shoes is a nightmare. Next is my best bet but their's have either sky high heels which I can't even stand in let alone walk in or flat ballerina things which make my Achilles ache. Did I mention they're also wide and I've got horrible toes?Confused Buying shoes is my most hated task. Give me trainers, boots or flip flops any day Wink

backinaminute · 03/05/2013 20:32

You guys are lovely, thank you Thanks

My granddad said to me a couple of years ago that I have 'very small feet for such a big girl' - proportion is where it's atGrin

Neeko · 03/05/2013 22:10

Crunchie You Paint a lovely picture of your feet Grin At least they are good for giving us a kick with!!

Backinaminute being able to say what you like must be the absolute bst thing about being old!

I had a chicken chow mein from the Chinese tonight. I have pointed it at 9. Is that about right? I lost e-source when I stopped paying which i think is a tad unfair on a gold member.

poorpaws · 03/05/2013 23:51

Well done everyone, you're doing so well all of you. Welcome to the new people.

For the record my daughter (aged 31 so not a little girl) takes a size 2 and a half to 3 shoe, now that's a dainty foot.

I've not been on here since last Friday when I had a weight gain of 1.5 lbs but I have been reading your news daily!

I've been on the naughty step, had a good talk to myself and given myself a few slaps and have been good this week and I lost 1lb at wi tonight. I thought it would be at least the 1.5lbs I gained last week but am trying to be positive and a loss is a loss (and the way I was going last week I thought I'd be gaining the stones back very soon). This means I'm still in the 10s (well only just at ten stones and half a pound) and I desperately want to be back in the 9s (was 9st 9lbs before Christmas) but am trying hard.

Keep up the good work everyone. I do check on you daily but haven't got too much to say for myself on a daily basis, though I love to read all your posts. Have a good Bank Holiday everyone.

poorpaws · 03/05/2013 23:54

Backinamin ~ you're amazing, awesome and just, just fantastic, brilliant and more!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 04/05/2013 08:06

Another lb off. 16 now Smile

mummytowillow · 04/05/2013 09:15

Hi, I've been quiet this week so sorry for not posting. I've just weighed and lost 3lb so that's 7lb in 3 weeks Smile

Confusion, I'm so sorry for your loss Thanks

Well done on the weight losses everyone else Wink

jazzcat28 · 04/05/2013 11:12

Well done on the losses everyone! Confusion, thinking of you Flowers

I managed to stay the same this week which is fab considering last weekends meal out. I think it's the gardening. I've done 4hrs this week trying to eradicate ivy from my fences.

This time next week I shall be P-ing OAS - gonna have to get up, WI, them come home and drink pints of water to generate required wee. I really thought I had pregnancy symptoms last week but since Friday not so sure. Will probably be neg but will set up a thread so you can join me (if you wish)!!

Meant to be having a BBQ today but it's raining Sad

AddictedtoCrunchies · 04/05/2013 16:45

So excited for you Jazz. Your test is actually in my diary Blush

I ran 6.2 miles this morning. Up a massive bastard hill in the driving rain. Not fun. Then two hours of gardening so think I've justified the egg and bacon roll I had for lunch. Now at football cheering on my team in the play offs. Bit tense Confused

PiHigh · 04/05/2013 18:21

Fingers crossed for you jazz

I was very good while out today, I resisted the rather delicious looking carrot cake in the cafe we went to and made do with a cup of (fancy) tea. OTOH we're having takeaway for tea Blush. Actually I found it worked ok having Indian because we buy a non-creamy curry & boiled rice and share the one meal between us. Keeps the price down too!

TickleMyTitsTillFriday · 05/05/2013 08:46

Hi all, please can I join you?

I joined last Wednesday and weight 14st 0.5lbs at wi Sad I was 10 st 3 years ago so am determined to get back to that. Think I have done ok so far, the biggest thing for me is wine. Oh wine my friend, I miss you so!

I'm going on holiday on 12 July and would really like to lose 2.5 st by then. So I'm starting running today and staying away from wine.

Anyway, have a fab recipe for you all to say hello Wink

Chicken breast
Red yellow and green pepper
Peri peri BBq rub

Fry it all together with a teaspoon of olive oil

75g of uncooked plain rice

I tablespoon of 0% fat Greek yogurt and 1 teaspoon of humus as a dip with it.

10pp and delicious!

TickleMyTitsTillFriday · 05/05/2013 08:46

I sound like a lush. I'm not. I just love wine!
