Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

OP posts:

I had fish and chips tonight too. Delicious. And I ran 5 miles in less than 50 mins. So less than 10 min/mile pace. Am very chuffed and very stiff Grin

Neeko · 24/04/2013 22:10

That's impressive Addicted I'm very jealous of all the running on this thread. I did the c25k last summer and did a charity 6k in September but have been suffering with a sore knee/hip so haven't run in months. I really miss it. I'm hoping losing weight will help with the pain as I can't afford to see an osteopath.

poorpaws · 25/04/2013 00:52

I'm just here to cheer you all on tonight as I've had another day from hell. I don't like to miss a night checking up on how you are all doing even if I'm not doing so well myself.

I'm worn out just reading about all the running, so well done to all of you and keep up the good work. You are all doing brilliantly so keep it up.

To the fish and chippers ~ I would kill for some tonight!

Neeko · 25/04/2013 07:23

poorpaws hope you're ok. Wrt we would doing filling and healthy for a week maybe help?

mummytowillow · 25/04/2013 09:44

I can't believe a whole Twirl is only 6 points Grin I love them!

outtolunchagain · 25/04/2013 10:19

Is that both sticks mummytowillow, ?
The trouble is if I start eating chocolate then I can't stopHmm

Furball · 25/04/2013 10:23

I was delighted that a cadbury caramel egg was only 6 points as well - just seems really good point value in comparison to say a potato Grin

Neeko · 25/04/2013 11:49

shopping book says a twirl is 5! I've been robbed! Grin

NoWayNoHow · 25/04/2013 12:45

Hello all and congratulations on all the amazing losses - very inspiring!

On the subject of treats...

An Exotic Fruits Solero is 3pp. The tomato soup I was supposed to have for lunch is 3pp. AIBU to have had ice cream for lunch in the sun??

AddictedtoCrunchies · 25/04/2013 13:26

Noway no not at all Grin

AddictedtoCrunchies · 25/04/2013 16:09

Had another weight loss comment today. From someone at work I only know to say 'hi' to. Blush Very pleased.

mummytowillow · 25/04/2013 18:30

I think Twirls are 3 per stick, but I would eat both Grin

outtolunchagain · 25/04/2013 18:45

Just making the tarragon chicken recipe from this months magazine. I hope it tastes as good as it smells because I 'm ravenous , awful day at work today and succumbed to 2 bourbons but I did track and point them.

outtolunchagain · 25/04/2013 19:26

Just to report chicken very nice but I would do it a bit slower next time as the chicken was a little dry

Furball · 25/04/2013 19:36

Wahhay! - I lost 4 lbs - I'm really pleased, that included 2 meals out of 1 x pizza and 1 x burger and chips.

mummytowillow · 25/04/2013 19:42

Well done furball Smile

backinaminute · 25/04/2013 20:11

Hurrah! Also reporting a loss. I missed WI last week due to being away and was really hoping to stay the same as I fell off the ww wagon while away but have been strict this week - I've lost 4 ruddy lbs. I'm so pleased. Grin

Neeko · 25/04/2013 20:17

wow! Great weight losses both of you. Well done! Smile

outtolunchagain · 25/04/2013 20:46

Well done furballGrin

Doretaball · 25/04/2013 22:49

Oh dear. I've completely fallen of the wagon. I keep starting each day saying I'll start afresh but then just seem to eat loads. I've been too scared to come on here and didn't WI on Monday. I haven't even managed much walking. I can't seem to remember how to do it this dieting thing. Sad

Sorry to be down but I need a bit of a kick.....

poorpaws · 26/04/2013 00:30

I'm letting the side down too.

Furball · 26/04/2013 05:39

Doretaball and poshpaws - we've all been there, so totally understand.

But.....take back mojo control - Think sunshine, I always find that helps with the slimmer outlook and focus, focus, focus..........little steps.

Summer is coming and lovely summer clothes and sandals are awaiting

outtolunchagain · 26/04/2013 08:10

Oh I know how you feel , I have fiddled around for at least a couple of months but the thing that always reinvigorates me is going clothes shopping which I did last weekend . I am determined not to have to feel so depressed again , constantly finding things are too tight or do't look right etc Hmm

You can't do anything about what has gone but you can change the future

NoWayNoHow · 26/04/2013 09:17

Morning all! So, 2.8lbs off for me this week which I'm chuffed to bits with considering how little I'm been averaging each week.

Doreta and poshpaws - it's so easy to get into a cycle of letting one day go, feeling bad about yourself, so letting the next day go to.

Draw a crunchie line under and make today a fresh start. It doesn't matter what you did yesterday or last week, and I would go so far as to say that it doesn't matter what your next WI shows you provided you keep on tracking and being honest with yourself and giving yourself time to stay on track.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 26/04/2013 14:56

Doreta and poshpaws here's a crunchie line for you
--------

We'll all still be here no matter what you do. So get back on it and think of lovely summer clothes Thanks Thanks
