YiP yip yip! That's great Cyb. Feel like I'm waiting for you to flash or something!!!

How's about 7?

ZoneArmatrading · 04/05/2010 13:48

I'll show you mine at some point if any goodies turn up from the bash.

BTW, mum got a card from my PILs which had 'YOU'RE EIGHTY TODAY!' on front in massive gold type like it was telling the birthday girl/boy know something they might not know on account of decrepitude.

DarrellRivers · 04/05/2010 13:54

Afternoon all
Am having late lunch now

porridge
apple
2 slice brown bread
carrot
cheese slices and tomato

Am feeling very controlled as am re-adjusting my snack foods to vegetables
Am full and not starving which is very good in my world
Have bought dress for party, am searching for a link
Also bought top no 7, page 15 of magazine, silky pink, small sleeves, V-neck top to go with grey jersey pants as alternative outfit

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 04/05/2010 14:01

Oh nice top, is it a wrap or just a v neck though?
Spent mornign at library and then invited DD1's bf round with her mum for lunch, had small bowl baked beans with worcestershire sauce, yummy.
Got butternut squash susoup ready roasted but not made it yet.
Not sure what to do for tea, was supposed to be fajitas but I forgot to get the chikcne out, so I either go and buy more or buy something else altogether but can't decide what, had meatballs last night so don't want beef. what are you all having?

dinkystinky · 04/05/2010 14:07

Will be having another portion of DH's butternut squash and chickpea curry tonight with pan fried prawns Jack. Planning on having griddled asparagrus wrapped in parma ham for tea tomorrow night. Cant wait. I love asparagus.

Zone - lol at your PIL's card to your mum. Did they also give her some bifocals to help her read it?

DarrellRivers · 04/05/2010 14:20

I have a necklace with scrabble letter initial
Have bought for friends too
DH laughs that we can buy our names and spell them out, which will stand us in good stead when we all get dementia

We are having canellini beans in coconut milk curry with roti
And ubiquitous salad
It is v tasty

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 04/05/2010 14:34

DH is a veg refuser, noen of that is going to cut it

Bored now. Waiting in for delivery but have nothing to do in the house and loads to do out of it. wish DH would hurry up so I can bugger off out!

MamaG · 04/05/2010 14:36

I will go to the animal shelter and get you a cat. I will let you fall in love with that cat. Then on a dark and stormy night I will steal into your house and PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!

dinkystinky · 04/05/2010 15:13

MamaG - you feeling alright?

Hmm, sausage casserole Jack for your DH and delicious veggie stuff for everyone else?

bobbiewickham · 04/05/2010 15:15

MamaG is scaring me

School visit went well. They want me to go in a couple of times a week for work experience. Might lead to something. They seemed keen!

CybilLiberty · 04/05/2010 15:55

Oh gawd she's been at the purple wine gums again.....

MamaG · 04/05/2010 16:03

oh sorry that was meant to be Fb status !!

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 04/05/2010 16:15

that's a terrible excuse, you are just being passive aggressive, no?
Gave up + bought chicken. Now need opinions

Seafood sticks + pickled onions.
Bifferage or ok?
Nottogether, i am not upduffed, i just have pickled onions + i bought seafood sticks cos i was hungry

CheeeseOnToast · 04/05/2010 16:22

I love seafood sticks. 16 calories each, if I remember correctly.

Pickled onions are fantastic. I am a massive fan of baby pickled beetroot...mmmm

OP posts:
CybilLiberty · 04/05/2010 16:26

fish sticks? URk! the divvel's food

pickled onions! ditto

beetroot same again!

MamaG · 04/05/2010 16:28

you should like fish sticks, being a food pleb

you've gone down in my estimation cybil

dinkystinky · 04/05/2010 16:28

Yay Bobs - the outfit worked its magic!

seafood sticks v low in cals but v processed - pickled stuff can not possibly be bifffage. I dare you to try to eat more then 3 pickled onions in one sitting and not need to drink a gallon of water (which is all v anti-biff behaviour)

CybilLiberty · 04/05/2010 16:28

they are rank! what part of the goddam fish are they anyway?

dinkystinky · 04/05/2010 16:30

As I said Cyb, they're v processed. You dont want to know what bits they are anyways.

Perhaps fishsticks are abit too classy for Cyb? Fishfingers - pleb through and through. But Fishsticks - sound dangerously like canoopees to me

CybilLiberty · 04/05/2010 16:36

zone I'll try and remember at 7!

they will be a major disappointment I am sure

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 04/05/2010 16:37

I think we have a thread divide on the seafood sticks. I'm with Cyb, for the record.

duckyfuzz · 04/05/2010 16:43

fishsticks sound gross but I lurve pickled onions

ZoneArmatrading · 04/05/2010 17:01

Cyb I am good audience. You are great sport. With fishsticks for arms apparas.

bobbiewickham · 04/05/2010 17:19
