Ah but then Bobbie you can do the Dressing Room shimmy and shake while trying to get in and out of clothes which are a tight fit - reckon that burns off at least another 20 calories

bobbiewickham · 28/04/2010 21:38

I've done all the Dressing Room shimmying and shaking I can stand for the time being, what with the frigging All Saints dress debacle.

I gave it to my (gorgeous, thin) eighteen year old niece in the end, by the way.

She looks hot in it.

There was nowt wrong with it.

It just didn't suit me.

Because I am A Big Old Biffer.

BudaisintheZONE · 28/04/2010 21:38

JackBauer · 28/04/2010 21:43

Good for running eric, have my morning off tomorrow so going to run 2 miles back from dd2's playgroup, have nice bath and then MN meet over picnic in park. Have lots of fruit and veg stuff for park thoguh...

pointydog · 28/04/2010 21:50

gawd, I haven't been biffing, honest injun.

today: weetrabix, o juice,
banana,
school portion (ie small) plain mince, three little new taters, carrots,
apple,
most of tin tuna (brine) with gherkins, pickled beet and chezz toms with one jacobs and humous on the side

I so fucking want to have some shortbread now

pointydog · 28/04/2010 21:51

I don't do exercise.

dinkystinky · 28/04/2010 21:57

get out and do a walk tomorrow pointy - on pain of stapler

pointydog · 28/04/2010 21:57

I too bizz.

pointydog · 28/04/2010 21:58

I'm just bothered about losing weight just now, not stretching my legs

dinkystinky · 28/04/2010 22:03

Right - to shift weight we need to create a calorie deficit. Best way to do this, other than not biffing, is to burn some calories which we dont do in every day life - could be done any way (gym, running, gardening, cleaning vigorously, hauling a rambunctious toddler around the place - take your pick) - that is my definition of exercising for the purposes of Dietmaggedon. Clearly the more vigorous calorie burning you do, the more deficit you create - and the more you challenge your body by breaking from the norm the better for getting yourself off a plateau.

I reckon patrolling the thread with an enormo stapler will burn at least 100 calories tomorrow...

dinkystinky · 28/04/2010 22:04

Sorry Jack - I'm a fashion carthorse so absolutely rubbish at advising other people on what to wear as I just plough my tried and tested furrow...

pointydog · 28/04/2010 22:05

if I do exercise I get too damn hungry to resist biffage

fishie · 28/04/2010 22:09

some of you need to eat more f&v

i had a small lamb chop with a bucket of watermelon and a couple of olives and some 9% fat feta.

and 200 pints of wine and a furious row with dh. now ds is awake and wailing on my leg. today is not ending well.

dinkystinky · 28/04/2010 22:12

Aah fair enough pointy - you've thought that one through then...

Fishie - I had a ginormous salad with my chicken for dinner tonight.

Your meal sounds great - the furious row less so. I'd be tempted to dive back into the wine once you get ds to sleep again...

dinkystinky · 28/04/2010 22:13

Oh Bobbie -just read the end of your dress saga upthread. Surely that design is ageism based then - I think you should sue All Saints for selling ageist dresses

PeppaPigot · 28/04/2010 22:15

you dont know that I didnt do that to dh myself

noddyholder · 28/04/2010 22:21

Where do you get 9% feta?I thought cheese was all fat Does it taste good?

YoginiBikini · 28/04/2010 22:22

Yum, you must try sherbet lemonade - 2 apples and an inch of lemon in the juicer.

Zingy mouth and all cravings gone

Kit kats puke - see it works

pointydog · 28/04/2010 22:22

I love feta. Is feta good?

KickArseQueen · 28/04/2010 22:23

v impressive eric! I would love to be able to do that, but I just don't get the time atm, I'm contemplating going for a bounce on the trampoline. Was just saying to dp that actually I could start back at the gym in the evenings now that dc4 is sleeping from about 8.30..... For some reason I am useless running on the road but love running on a treadmill,

Don't worry Dinky, the last time I weighed 9 stone 2 I had a very physical job, DP used to describe me as the muscley one and tell people I used to be a man Think more tomb raider than skinny spice!

I can't stand the whole over skinny look, I think I need to get back to 9 stone 2 just to prove to myself I can get back to where I was before I got pregnant. I kind of feel as though I need to get there before I move on.

I haven't worked out tommorows dinner yet, but breakfast will be 2 weetabix 150mls skimmed milk and a huuuge coffee! Lunch will be slim a soup an apple, orange, and yogurt. And I must drink 1 ltr of water by lunch time! I have an added awkward that I must eat 65 gms of protien every day to support b/feeding and eat an additional 600 cals. over the normal diet level.....
