Nonono, 26 isn't too old. I merely think I am no longer the spring chicken I once was and really, a lot of the clothes aimed at younger people aren't really cut for those who have borne children
Far better to pay for good quality cut imo. Am v pleased with myself today actually. Am wearing a brand new lambswool grey and white Abercrombie sweater I found in a charity shop for a fiver. Looks and feels v nice, and cut appropriately, while still being down with the kids. Innit

smallishsheep · 30/04/2010 14:59

If you start wearing Jack Wills, on the other hand, I will have to shoot you.

chibi · 30/04/2010 15:07

It's just so bloody demoralising

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 30/04/2010 15:18

cyb · 30/04/2010 16:21

jamie lunch fab.

had small Sausage Perregoloni (well thats what it sounded like)
rocket parmi and radicchio salado (almost called it a salado when I ordered it)

and these fab parmesan and ricotta deep fried cube things all gooey on the inside.

Plus glass of bubbles

treated myself to Laura Mercier eyebrow pencil and terry lip gloss in Space NK afterwards

(Terry Wogan lipgloss)

I have lost a leetle bit and was just above 11st 1 this morning. However, I had to have a scone with jam and cream. Not good.

Happy birthday, cyb! It's a helluva pressure buying 40th birthday presents. Bad luck re cushion and ikea duvet.

lol at Fabio- the world's coolest cat (and best-travelled)

BudaisintheZONE · 30/04/2010 17:04

LOL at Fabio Su. And I so needed a lol. Thank you.

Just heard that Gerry Ryan, an Irish radio/tv presenter was found dead today. Suspected heart attack. Aged 53. 5 kids. Am in total shock and am shaking and tearful. Which is stupid but listened to him every morning for years and years. And grew up near him. In fact an old friend of mine married his brother.

CAn't actually believe I feel so gutted. Was listening to him last week at home and he had been to the Whitney Houston concert the night before and got talking to some woman and had her phone in the next day. And he made a point of saying that he loved talking to his listeners when they met him!

pointydog · 30/04/2010 17:05

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 30/04/2010 17:12

Way cool - some cats have it and some don't. What colour is he? All my cool cats have been black and white.

God, that lunch sounds good Cyb.

Sorry to hear that Buda.

Still all kicking off out there I see.

smallishsheep · 30/04/2010 17:14

Are we allowed to mention the elephant in the room porridge?
I may just flounce every time I go for a poo. I'll be back in about the same stretch of time, but I wouldn't want any of you to worry...

pointydog · 30/04/2010 17:17
