Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!Only 40 lucky you xx

BudaisintheZONE · 30/04/2010 08:06

You are mean.

No. You are not really. But men are usually crap at presents. I buy my own. Can't even remember what DH bought me for my 40th! But he would never have bought me flowers.

And although the Ikea duvet could be construed as weird think of the fact that he, a man, braved Ikea alone. The hell that is Ikea. And all because the lady loves (well said she liked) Milk Tray the duvet set. It's quite sweet really.

Ask him if he would be offended if you changed the cushion.

Lesson for next year. Give a wish list of PRECISE suggestions!

noddyholder · 30/04/2010 08:07

My ds is 16 tomorrow

cocolepew · 30/04/2010 08:07

I got a watch for mine. That was good for DH, I usually buy my own too.

BudaisintheZONE · 30/04/2010 08:08

Well done ZA!! Goal weight is fab!!!

Noddy - oops. How did that happen then? Scary.

cyb · 30/04/2010 08:09

thanks nodders!

Buda I ahve already asked him if I can change the duvet set! I fear changing the cushion might be an exchange too far.

he knows what a pain I am about presents...

righto orf to work, stay in the zone ladies, see you laters

noddyholder · 30/04/2010 08:31

Work on your 40th!Noooo! I don't know where the years have gone.He has been a pita for months but is on the charm offensive today in anticipation of presents tomorrow

bobbiewickham · 30/04/2010 08:42

Happy Birthday Cyb!

Well done all losers!

I can't believe they pulled our thread without warning! I was frantically searching for it last night - I thought it had dropped off the puter.

It was a bit norty in retrospect, but very funny. I've been smirking at "I'm from Doncaster. I will fuck you up" since last night.

Am secretly thrilled at being in trouble. That's how sad and boring my life has become...

And I've put weight on since last week, but not too much and it's my own fault for biffing, so philosophical about it.

DarrellRivers · 30/04/2010 08:56

Happy birthday cyb
He was probably very pleased at remembering you liked the duvet set
Rather than remembering that you liked the diamond necklace or bracelet set in the Boodles catalogue
Congrats JB and ZA
I am still 8st 3 (I think my scales are stuck) but have a lovely new pair of H+M high waisted slightly peg leg cut turn up chinos which look lovely on so am feeling milliion dollars today and was only up once in the night proper (2.30) and the next was 6.15 so that counts as the morning
Am off shopping again (am on maternity leave/what else is there to do) but will walk speedily there to burn some calories

fishie · 30/04/2010 08:57

happy birthday cyb. can't believe you are going to work!

ReshapeWhileDamp · 30/04/2010 09:17

Happy Birthday Cyb! Bollocks to gallstones, tombstones, etc. And odd purple cushions.

AitchTwoZone · 30/04/2010 09:20

HAPPYBIRTHDAYANDWELLDONETOYOULOSERSAND WELCOMENOOBIEDARRELL. (although you sound a bit tiny for dieting)

haven't weighed yet, it'll be a gain. shortbread.

AitchTwoZone · 30/04/2010 10:14

okay, i think i'm about three qu of a pound more than last week, no biggie.

dinkystinky · 30/04/2010 10:51

Blardy hell, I leave you lot alone for one night and you kick off a fight thread with another click without me... tut tut tut. You could have done with me on your fight thread too - used to kickbox and everything. I reckon I could do quite some damage to a garden gnome or two nowadays...

Happy birthday Cyb - hope you have a fab day. Sorry DH's presents were rather naff - on plus side you can return the cushion to get one you really like and same with the duvet set. Men, not great on the details. And your next milestone is your second childhood.

Master - happy birthday for yesterday. My sister lived with James McAvoy (and several other RADA actors) for a couple of months when he was a struggling actor in London - he moved out when he got the part in a new show called "Shameless"....

Reshape - lovely to see you back on. Was the same when pregnant - not hungry at mealtimes but ravenous inbetween. Took to snacking on healthy stuff little and often (so 5 small snack meals) till it passed somwehere around 16 weeks.

Lol at Darrell weighing herself with the baby in her arms and not realising. Weighed self this morning after boxing session - have put a lb on due to biffage earlier this week. Also did body fat percentage and am only 16.5% body fat which is apparently v good (according to trainer anyway)- my aim is to get this down below 15% in the next few months.

Enormous Woop woops to Cyb (below 11 stone - fantastico), JB (a stone - brilliant), Cod (the average of your two ying yang scales still v good), Buda (excellent zoning my friend) and ZoneArmatrading (Goal - hurrah!). Enormous staples (without the claw to remove them) to everyone else who has biffed without remorse - next week I will be weilding the hole punch too...

Oh yes, drinking on an empty stomach at lk bennett thingy last night led me to buy a dress - will try to do linky to it. Stupidly expensive (as their dresses are) but was 20% discount and champagne whispering in my ear that I should biff on dresses rather than canapes so I did...

CheeeseOnToast · 30/04/2010 10:51

I have put a bit on. Grrr. I'm now 9 stone 2.2 so I've put on just over a pound. I haven't been very good this week, I know. I'm getting fed up with obsessing over food yet not being able to stop myself eating delicious things . I need to find my willpower again, it seems to have fallen by the wayside.

Still, I'm almost decided that I'm going to rejoin the gym, which hopefully will help me.

Well done those who have lost, some fantastic weight losses on this thread.

Oh and Happy Birthday Cyb! Have a good day

dinkystinky · 30/04/2010 10:53

this one but in dark purple What do you think? Looks v flattering on and nicely shows off best assets without being too showy if you know what I mean. Planning to wear it to a wedding in london later this summer.

AitchTwoZone · 30/04/2010 10:55

i think it's okay to take a break from it for a week, cheeesy. i'm back to being all motivated again. plus, we are going to have to maintain things when we get down to the weight we want, so a pound here and then off again will be a way of life shortly.

AitchTwoZone · 30/04/2010 10:56

GORGEOUS dinky but ficking hell the price.

noddyholder · 30/04/2010 11:02

That is gorgeous v victoria b

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/04/2010 11:04

Happy 40th Birthday Cyb,

I tell dd exactly what I want for my birthday. It always works and then dh always books us a weekend away. To a place he wants to go.

Amazing losers this week, well done. Aitch I think we should let you off since you were sleb snacking.

I ran 16km this morning. I feel the need to biff.

noddyholder · 30/04/2010 11:04

love this too

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/04/2010 11:09

Both are divine, I especially like the Savanna.

AitchTwoZone · 30/04/2010 11:09

really, nod? it's so ordinary.

dunno about the clothes but our local cobbler says that it's lk bennett shoes he fixes the most, he reckons they're keech.

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/04/2010 11:11

Tis classy. I've never owned a pair of LK Bennet shoes, I'm too tight poor.

noddyholder · 30/04/2010 11:13

I love plain like that.have never bought from them either bar a pair of ballet pumps years ago for work (in sale)
